Dont have DST, that's fine and sensible

Have DST, that's also fine as so many places use it.

Having UTC+15, +30 or +45 is weird different, it seems an extra complication, if you phoned someone in NT or SA at 2100, are you phoning at 2100 yhour time so 2030 their time or 2100 their time which is 2130 your time

It just feels that dealing with whole hours is more straight forward. I guess some of it is what youre used to
