My life was different back then compared to now. I didn't really had anyone to discuss MLP to and I didn't had many friends back then. I can't say for other states and I don't remember what it's like in my state.

I'm sure you'll be fine. Your instructor should only put you in for your test when you're ready :)

It was always a suprise to my students, whilst flying circuits (touch & go's) when, at some point, we landed and I got out and sent them on their first solo :)
