Yeah, the other MGS games wasn't that dark or brutal ... sure, there was some bloody cutcenes or some dark story(Especially MGS1) but never in that way. There are a lot of topics, games normally not show, the real horror of a war. No COD, BF or etc. where you just killing thousand enemies alone. Big Boss suffers a lot. And it plays 1984. I just love the MGS games

To some extent I feel the same about Isaac. It's the a one of a kind game. And while the game has a very gross-out, weird, humorous approach to things, there is actually a rather serious story behind it. It's one of those things everyone thinks is just ridiculous until they pay a bit more attention to the details.

I guess, if you ask some random guy about japanese games, they probably think about all the animes etc. XD But MGS is japanese too. And even when there are some strange things or some dark jokes, the story is always serious and long(!!!)
