music #1 Guilty Pleasure Song?

Moonlight

Recommended Posts

Down With The Sickness. Too vulgar for me to post.

Someone hasn't visited the Metal Thread.

Anyway, I'm not one for the idea of "guilty" pleasures.  You like something or you don't.  Own it, yo.

From my work playlist.

Every song from MLP.

Ok, serious answer:

I mean, who doesn't know/love this song and it's irritating but irresistible catchiness?

Another would be:

Not sure why this is a 'guilty pleasure' for me, BUT IT IS! Edited by Broseph

I don't have a "guilty pleasure song" as I don't like the idea of feeling guilty for liking a song, either you like something or you don't.  Anyway's I like most old Nickleback songs.  I also like a lot of Creed's stuff.  They are 2 very good live bands.  I also really like Avenged Sevenfold.

Nickleback- If everyone Cared

Creed- Higher (duh) and Rain

Avenged Sevenfold- Nightmare.

Insane by Eminem. I seriously don't even know why I listen to it. I only like a few very specific rap songs, as a whole genre, rap isn't my thing. Especially Eminem. And to top it all off, it's one of the weirdest songs I've heard. I can't even post the damn song because there's so much fucked up sexual stuff in it.

Really? I love that song.

Most songs by Hopsin. To be honest, he isn't very smart or educated. Also, a lot of his wordplay is flawed.

These two songs, right here. They are so unbelievably stupid. I mean, who makes songs about little old ladies from Pasadena who drive awesomely, or songs about taking baths? But yet, I love them. I love them so much.

I wouldn't call it a guilty pleasure, since I don't take guilt in the things I enjoy, but I would've call the nu-metal I listen to a guilty pleasure about a year ago. Since then, I've found that even if people don't like what you like, you shouldn't take guilt in it.

Anyway, my favorites in nu-metal are the debut albums from Slipknot and Mudvayne.

These are not indicative of what I usually listen to by any means, but I still dig them.

Limp Bizkit are one of those bands where I love the instruments, but the vocals are just so amazingly bad it somehow makes it even better as it becomes a sweet mix of actually good and "so bad it's good", and this takes that up to 11 by having the lyrics be even stupider and having a guest verse by Lil Wayne who is also so bad he is good in this. I might think Fred Durst and Lil Wayne are morons who can't rap at all, but man is this song hilarious. "I'll make you go Gaga", simultaneously the best and worst rap pickup line I have ever heard.

Here it is, the big one: I like Friday by Rebecca Black. But before you flame me and call me the anti-christ for having a different opinion, read this quote from a College Humour article( Yes, the same people that made My Little Brony)

"Friday" by Rebecca Black is a terrible chart-topping pop single. On the other hand, it's the best Bat Mitzvah video in the world. I'm sure Rebecca Black's friends and family think it's amazing. You think it sucks? No shit. A 13-year-old girl made it. You think it sucks because you're viewing it out of context. You're comparing it to every great song that exists. That's not fair to Rebecca Black, who I'm sure would agree that "Friday" is not the best song of all time.

I enjoy it more than I should, and I blame that Thrillville game.

Yep, I'll go sit in the corner now.

So, what's your #1 Guilty Pleasure Song?

Wheatley....I'm....I'm so sorry.

That said, mine changes from time to time. Currently, Ms. Clarkson has it.
