As the inside of her scythe was pressed against his throat.

"The flash of light was meant so I could allow a double to take my place" The clone in front of them didn't move.

"Brains over power, I know this is you. Remember I can see body heat. to bad you can't" She placed her hoof over his joint in his back leg and forced him to kneel. 

"I lack power, but as long as I keep my head cool. I should be ok" She smiled. As she pulled Frost closer to her as to make any escape near impossible without beheading himself.

(It feels good to play as Mason. My favorite villains to play as the ones that screw with your head, especially the successful ones.)

 

"You desire to feel wanted." Program repeated. "Observation: You are wanted. Otherwise you would not be in bindings. If you cannot escape you are wanted to stay. How is this different?"

 

Stone sighed "he made me feel loved, he loved me, made me feel special. Something that I don't get at all. There's no point anymore, I've lost the fight, so my nephew can't be normal, now my husband hates me? And is now with someone else. Why should I live " she said more pissed.

Frost nodded in approval "Well it appears we have reached an impass." he said looking at the spike that floated right next to Icy's head. "So you behead me and that spike goes right through that pretty little brain of yours." he said with a smirk, but he was right. This time there was no escaping it this had two endings: one forfeits, or they both die."

 

(Welp this seems like a good place to end the fight, but how?)

As much as Icy wanted to win. She knew there had to be one winner. Still holding his life while he held hers was a gamble she had to decide on.

"So you are willing to let no one win" She thought of different ways to win, but all required speed and luck.

Not trusting Frost not to shot her for releasing him she let her scythe go and threw herself on her back as fast as she could to avoid the spike aimed at her head.

"I... forfeit" she said as she laid on the ground. She sighed.

Frost dropped the spike, fell on his knees, and sighed. "It's over..,.for now." he thought as he looked at Icy and held her chin up so they were eye to eye. "You are not weak....you will never be weak." he said as yet another tear rolled down his cheek thinking about Icy's mom and his parents. "Now....how about that pasta." he said as he stood back up and extended a hoof to Icy to help her up.

"There you are!" said Nuclear, smiling at Jaqueline. "Time to get this over with!"   In that moment, Nuclear used one of her stronger attacks, sending a large ball of radiation straight at Jaqueline, hopefully not enough to kill her. "CASTLE BRAVO!"

 

This ball of radiation once again hit Jaqueline, blowing her out of the ring. That meant that Nuclear Neurotic won, but that was okay for Jaqueline: "Well, at least I live. Maybe I have better luck next time. Good match, Nuclear. I wish you luck on your next opponents."

"I didn't want to to kill you so I didn't use my full extent of my radiation magic." Another smile broke across her face, showing good will. "You seem like a nice pony."

 

She held out her hoof over the edge of the ring. "Here, I'll help you up."

He already won that she didn't mind, but to touch her like that and tell her she wasn't weak when she lost. Well, hat was a little more then she could deal with. She Picked herself off the ground. 

"I don't need sympathy and don't patronize me. You won" Icy was done. She turned away from Frost and headed back to the lobby.

"I didn't want to to kill you so I didn't use my full extent of my radiation magic." Another smile broke across her face, showing good will. "You seem like a nice pony."

 

She held out her hoof over the edge of the ring. "Here, I'll help you up."

The ref looked confused. "Wait. Is the fight over. Just like that. I did hear a forfeit, right?"

Juri approached the ring slowly. Everything was still so cold and bloody. "Dammit! They pay me to be cute, not risk my life! I'm calling the match from here! The winner by forfeit is Frost Typhoon!"

(I see you guys wanted this to end, so I'll let this slide, but for future reference, you don't lose in a ring out unless you can't get back in a ten count. this isn't Sumo wrestling.)

 

"Right. The winner by ring out is Nuclear Neurotic! Making her the second to last contestant to make it to the second round!"

Frist sat there for a moment and watched Icy leave the arena. After a few seconds "He followed her into the lobby. "I'm not giving you sympathy, and frankly what the hell." he said sternly "Look...forget the arena and forget the tournament." he said as he calmed down and extended a hoof "Friends? Please....I've got nopony else here who dosent want me dead." he said softly.

"Friends?" Icy turned to face him "Look what I need is to be alone. I failed, As far as I care you were the stronger of the two us"

"Forget the arena? the tournament? To be here was to prove to those around me that I was strong" She snorted at him

"To tell me to forget all that is telling me to forget why I am even here in the first place!" She turned away from him and tried to walk away.

Cosmo had taken up his meditation spot and saw the contestants walk in. "What do you consider strong?" Cosmo asked Icy as she started to leave, "I think having the humility to back down from a fight you can't win is a strength of it's own. And what does one match say about your strength or Frost's? I lost to my opponent a year ago, yet today when we fought, just evenly matched as before, he ended up defeated and dead. Just surving these fights can be difficult, so don't be judge your results too harshly."

(He's been meditating for awhile so he's in a Zen mindset)

Frost followed after Snowy, but figured saying anything more would probably piss the mare off even more. "Heh, the only reason I won is because I can stand attacks better than most ponies," he mumbled under his breath "if not for my other soul I might be a frozen corpse right now." he continued

Sole considered beating up the gaurds and busting through. It'd be easy... but it might also get him kicked out of the tournament, and he couldn't risk it. "Fine!" He said angrily, as he turned and stalked away angrily. He missed stone so much it hurt, but he had less doubt that she might be alive...

Swordpoint teleported away from Thunder, reappearing below. He released a quick burst of energy from his wings, dispelling the tornado. He spread his wings and gathered more energy, waiting calmly for Thunder's next attack. It was pointless to continue charging at him; Thunder's skill rivaled his own, and at this rate, neither would come out on top. But he had a plan, and he was going to make sure that he won while still sparing Thunder's life.

Tempest smirked as he passed unseen through the shadows. "He might not be able to enter, but I just might." He thought, his aura surrounding him. The cyan pegesus then waited for the right opportunity to strike.

Pella looked at the force assembled against that. On top of that, there were the unknown security protocols and anti-intrusion measures. She saw Sole withdraw with a fuss and sighed. A wise decision. I have a feeling he will come to regret that later. She switched back to wolf and headed back up the stairs.

Thunder Dash charged up quite a bit of energy. "It's pointless now to charge. Hoof-to-hoof combat really prolonged this fight. Look's like there is no other choice..." Thunder Dash thought to himself. He then made his double-bladed staff appear. "I'm sorry Swordpoint, but you've left me with no other choice." He said as he twirled his staff as electricity sparked from it as he kept spinning it.

Stone laid there for the longest time before thinking. BOOKS! She looked at gatasubal, "hey can you do me a favor and possibly get me some spell books. I could use some reading right now, and I might need to learn some healing spells I guess." She wanted to learn more about magic besides her earth abilities.

Stone thought for a second, "print out all of the healing spells and some manipulation spells, and any fire spells" she said quietly. "And if you could try and release the restraints....I'm not leaving, I'd like to read the spells though" she said with a warm smile.
