Open Ups and Downs RP

Roy woke up bright as the sun. He happily put on his shirt, one that his sister always said looked uniformal, and went down stairs. It was fairly early in the morning, about 8 AM. His sister and mother wouldn't be awake until the lunch shift, so he flipped the sign to open and waited for customers to come in.  Sunny Side Up was open yet again.

Somewhere deep in the Everfree, a druid unicorn was growing weary. Weary of all the hate and displeasure that he recieved from other ponies. He couldn't so much as go into town to get bread before ponies yelled at him, or threw food at him. He was beginning to grow weary... and he began to hatch a plan.

Repsol trotted through town. His back packed with saddlebags. Ever since his screwup at sugarcube corner, something he doesn't wish to speak of, he has been a delivery pony for Derpymail. This job seemed to go pretty well for him, since his special talent kinda relied on speed. He still didn't wear any uniform tough. As much as he needed a job he would never ever wear a uniform.

Anyhow, the package in his saddlebags belonged to a pony that apperantly didn't like his pachages to arrive late, so Repsol picked up his pace once again. This was his first major delivery without supervision from Derpy, so he really wanted to do this perfectly.

As he arrived at the house with the adress matching the one on the package, he knocked on the door.

In the doorway stood a grumpy old mule. repsol swallowed once, before saying: "Package delivery sir!"

The mule grumbled once, took the package, and slammed the door in Repsol's face.

Repsol just sighed in defeat and turned around.

He found his stomach grumbling as he remembered that in all the haste he didn't even take te time to have breakfast.

"I should go find something to eat." He mumbled to himself as he went searching for a diner or something.

Light Streak woke up in his and Blasted Nova's house in Ponyville. Light got up and got himself a cup of coffee, black with a few touches of sugar and cream. Just the way he liked it. He was about to go tinker in his laboratory with his new machines, he looked out the window and saw a new diner strait smack in the middle of town. He walked into Blast's room.

"Blast, wake up!" Light said, trying to shake him awake. "There's a new diner in town. Let's go try it!"

Blast slowly opened his eyes. "Dude, not now. I'm too tired for yesterday..." He replied in a low voice. He turned way in his bed. "Go try it yourself..."
"But it's pancakes. You like pancakes." Light noted.

"Yeah, but not after my best friend introduced me to a rude awakening on a Saturday morning."

Light walked out of Blast's room. "Fine, be that way. Don't come crying to me once you miss out on some awesome pancakes!"

Light then walked out of the door and went inside the diner, awaiting to be seated.

@,

Roy saw the stallion walk in and grinned. Great it didn't take to long. "Welcome to Sunny Side Up. You can take a seat anywhere you'd like, and I'll take your order whenever you'd like." Roy didn't notice his sister come down the stairs. She went into the kitchen groggily, not noticing Roy either.

@,

Light felt very welcomed. "Nice service here, so far. Ol' Blast is missing out." Light took a seat in the nearest booth. The way that mare walked into the kitchen perplexed him. What was up with her? He assumed she just had a bad night. Regardless, he was ready to order and waited for service.

Roy walked over to the pony. "Do you know what your going to order or do you want some time?" A clatter was heard coming from the kitchen and Roy whipped his head around. His sister sat in a plump in the doorway with a pot on her head. "What did you do?"

Shirley looked up to see the pot handle on sticking out from her head. "I uh... Needed a new hat. It's a new style I'm trying." She laughed and went back into the kitchen. "Huh. She's not usually up this early. Anyway sorry for that."

Lightning Nova was starving, she had been practicing her straight and flying for four hours straight and decided she needed a break. Lightning smiled when she saw the diner. The perfect place to grab a bite to eat. Lightning walked into the diner, and waited for one of the staff to show her to her seat.

@,

Roy saw the new pony walk in and turned his head toward the kitchen. "Shirley!" The pink mare came through the door quickly. She wore a green hoodie and was trying to adjust her green hat. "What!? Oh. Hi there welcome to Sunny Side Up. Just take a seat...Anywhere." she said to the new pony. She was still really tired, but tried to deal with it.

There was never anything to do in the day for Red Velvet, and with no actual job, other than each alternate night, he had become immune to the boredom that the day brought. Each morning was the same, go out to work out in the gym, eat somewhere, work out some more, and head back home, sometimes with the extra "duty" of standing at a door for a few hours to look aggressive.

As Red Velvet finished the first workout of the day, he began racking his brain on where to eat. It must have been almost noon at this point, perhaps 11:00 AM, and his breakfast had been rather meager, as it is every day. Red Velvet finally left he gym minutes later and turned left at random to begin his food hunt. His walk grew longer and longer until he finally passed a decent looking diner called, "Sunny Side Up". Red Velvet doubted that it would live up to it's name, other than possibly in the form of eggs, but his stomach was growling ferociously and the aromas that left the building as a stallion entered the diner. Smacking his lips, he had made up his mind and entered the diner to eat his lunch.
