Your opinion on "the anti brony brotherhood"

It'll peter out when they realise how pointless it is. The Brony fandom is absolutely huge; they're not going to make a significant dent in our strength. I think most Bronies know by now that these things are nothing to really preoccupy ourselves about.

Man these guys are all over iFunny and I must tell you they are the most butthurt haters of them all. They post anti-brony crap like you've never seen before. But still you can't take them seriously at all because they act as any stereotypical hater would. They don't strike any fear into my heart and most of the time I burst out laughing about how dumb they are :P

My only worry about this anti-brony brotherhood business is that they may crate profiles on brony forums just to intentionally be obnoxious in their blind butthurt rage.

I mean, what is their issue? So we like a show about pastel colored ponies, why do they give so much of a shit?

Who are they to tell us what to like?

I think they actually DID do something like that on fimfiction. (Or maybe some other site I can't remember :P) He or she just went around being a dick, posting hateful comments and posts until the staff banned him.

I skimmed their facebook, and one of the comments said 'I'm sure you're all willing to go this far' and posted a picture of Hitler.

I do not believe people can get mad enough at a fandom that they're willing to commit genocide, so I'm inclined to think they're trolling, and trolling hard. If not, dear Celestia.

That, and if you do get that pissed off, you need to reevaluate what you're doing with your life.

Alright if there willing to talk about genocide, post anti-brony art, willing to try and troll us and all of that nice stuff.

They are clearly more committed to My Little Pony than about 90 percent of us are.

Hahaha, best response yet! It's actually completely true, most of us just casually peruse fan art, while these guys actively seek it out. :P

Hmm, anti-pony art would be interesting for a change. Too bad their effectiveness and meaning originate from the ideas of the uploader, not in an objective sense. Hell, once in a while I don't mind seeing some hardcore gore pics etc, because it just stands out and is very radical. Who doesn't enjoy a bit of pinch and squeal every now and then xD

If they did it here, it actually would not be the first time.

I remember quite a while ago, a bunch of anti-bronies made accounts on the forum and started posting nasty porn everywhere.

It was not pleasant.

Speaking about radical reactions.

I don't have anything against people doing what they like, even if it was 'often times pointless' and completely not logical. But there's one vid which PRECISELY shows my reaction about them.

Spoilered due to a curse word :P (Yeah, I hide such things, in my last attempts of retaining some kind of culture in myself):

Edit: I mean, if they have something against bronies etc, let them. It won't stop me from doing anything anyway. *Shrugs*

I think that they're a bunch of deluded haters who could do with a kick to the head. They're scared of their own masculinity to give the show a try.

I disregard anyone who hates bronies into 2 categories.

1: Either they are insecure with their own interests/sexuality as your comfort threatens them

2: They are too ignorant to understand not everyone likes the same thing.

Does it bother me? No. I know I am fine with my interests, and if others don't understand. Well. Screw them. They don't need my time if all they are going to do is waste it.

Oh yes. Reading some further opinions and such in this thread jogged my memory of an Anti-Brony I know in real life.

He really enjoyed calling me 'trash' and would constantly rant on and on mentioning R34 art. I responded and said, "Why are you so worried about what I masturbate to you perv?"

He also is overweight, he is a smartass, and he doesn't do much other than play Xbox. Sounds EXACTLY how we get stereotyped. Insecure guys...

Hahaha I think they're downright hilarious!! Allllllways good for a laugh when I see em flaunting their stuff. It's just great. I don't want em to go away cause it's a fantastic source of entertainment.

Also... ironic that the one's watching a show aimed at little girls are generally by far the more mature ones.

This is giving me the same vibe as whenever you to to your friend's house and his 8-year-old "gangsta" brother starts flapping his gums about wanting to fight or whatever. It's both cute and shameful.

These gentlemen seem way too unorganized to actually be a headache. If we were to get a member from that group on here just trolling us, I'm pretty sure we'd all either ignore it or laugh at it.

The way I feel about people like this is, they complain were wasting our lives by loving a cartoon, so by their logic where does that put them for putting so much time and effort into hating us for liking a TVshow?

It's like "okay, I put time and effort in tributing something I like, and you're putting even more effort into hating me for it.

That's it, I'm coining a term right here and  now:

Anti-Fanboy: Someone who hates something so bad they will go to such lengths hating it that it they will inadvertently wind up having it just as much a part of their lives as the hardcore fans have it a part of theirs.

I think we did, someone made a very half-assed trolling thread a while back that consisted of posting about how the show sucked, and making a socket puppet account so he could talk to himself about how bad it sucked.
