Your opinion on "the anti brony brotherhood"

Honestly when I saw "the anti brony brotherhood" I genuinely laughed and I thought the hate had died down, I guess not.

I don't really mind as everything has persons who will dislike it. At the end of the day hate is a time and energy  wasting emotion. And you want know who suffers the most: The haters.  :comeatus:

Hahaha I think they're downright hilarious!! Allllllways good for a laugh when I see em flaunting their stuff. It's just great. I don't want em to go away cause it's a fantastic source of entertainment.

Also... ironic that the one's watching a show aimed at little girls are generally by far the more mature ones.

It isn't ironic. You are just more at center with yourself, and she show is targeted at families, not just little girls. There IS a difference.

He really enjoyed calling me 'trash' and would constantly rant on and on mentioning R34 art. I responded and said, "Why are you so worried about what I masturbate to you perv?"

My rebuttal "how do you know so much about My Little Pony porn?"

Come on! It's a valid question to ask when someone keeps bringing it up.

I have to LOL at the terminology - brotherhood. Ha. Sounds to me like a name a bunch of 13-year-old CoD shits would come up with.

...With no offense to any of the 13-year-olds on these forums who actually conduct themselves intelligently, of course.

Honestly, nothing here to worry about. I doubt they're any kind of force to be reckoned with. And the fact that they're referring to themselves as a "brotherhood" sounds like they're giving themselves way too much credit to begin with. I'm sorry, I just can't get over that..."brotherhood".

That's pretty much what I say whenever I hear someone say "You smell like pot!"

Me: "Oh...so you're familiar with the smell of pot, are you? Why is that, HMMMM?" :okiedokielokie:

I have a feeling the vast majority of this is for trolling, its one of those things people do because they think its just funny, even if its totally unreasonable and ridiculous. It gets them attention so they like it.

Honestly, i just ignore it, why even bother working myself up over it? If they truly don't like bronies its their problem, not mine.

The ABB. There motto should be "Wasting our time hating on some guys that like pastel colored cartoon ponies because we have nothing better to do with our lives!". That basically sums up the ABB. They act like they are making an impact but they really aren't. They are just like any other haters.

There only two things they seem to say are.

  • All bronies are fags and or pedos
  • MLP is for little girls.

Honestly, from the deepest part of my heart, I think they are a waste of oxygen and space on this planet. If you seriously hate people who watch a show about ponies to the point where you have to create this idiotic cult, you are the biggest loser and butthurt idiot alive. And all of the people that join this are just as idiotic. There are bigger problems on this planet other than people who watch a show, which isn't even a problem to begin with.

Anti-Fanboy

That is perfect. That is the best new term I have heard in a while. I suggest we start using this word, not just to refer to Brony haters, but to all haters who kick up their hatred to the point where it consumes their lives.

And might I add, there are people who will be anti-fanboys of anything they can think of because for some reason it actually makes them feel good to make others feel bad. I will never understand that kind of person. I understand the rush you get from dumping on someone if you can at least justify it in your own mind that they have done something to deserve it, but anti-fanboys just go out hunting for strangers to hate for no reason. I don't get it.

The most ironic thing is that what many would consider to be "anti-brony" artwork is stuff that bronies just find funny. For instance, an MLP comic where the punchline involves someone's head getting blown off with a shotgun; I grant there's plenty of bronies who would find that offensive, but still, at least as many would laugh.

Just don't go on some sort of all-out offensive or draw attention to them; far better to just laugh from a distance.

Where do I sign up? This sounds like something way too ridiculous for me to not join for the lulz. I'm not threatened by some people with no life attacking guys and gals on the internet who like colorful horses.

I saw their Facebook page...it's sad that you can tell their just doing it to be mean and that they have nothing to do but harass people who have done nothing wrong.

they are not a active members, they only tells how much hate MLP they have when the theme comes up, and if there's agressive members i tell you how pathetic hobby they get, hating, that's stupis, the have a few reasons (invalid of course) to hate the fandom and us have HEAVY reason to love MLP, i assure you, that some haters of today, will become bronys tomorrow because some people begin to love things by hating them first.

My opinion: what makes it any different than the other hate groups? I really don't understand the fuss about any time a new anti-brony organization is composed or another biased quickly-opinionated media coverage is made about our fandom. Is it really worth our times, guys? I think not.

It may be called "a brotherhood" (lol) but it's just a bunch of haters or trolls. It will probably disappear soon if bronies will ignore those guys. Members of this "brotherhood" must have really boring life to waste it on something like that. There's really not much else to say about it.

They can hate all they want the joke is one them anyway because while they are wasting their time doing that I am enjoying a great show and not letting their blatant trolling bother me.

I'm not bothered at all by them. Why should we be? As a few have said before we're way too large a fandom to take down so easily (and we're growing everyday).

Anyway until the day they can actually target people, by hacking them or they start going all Redwatch on us (and by that I mean posting up names, addresses and photos of people online), I'm not going to worry myself about them.

I gotta admit after doing a bit of a google search I've noticed that much of their "art work" or propaganda is very typical of what people think of communist Russian propaganda.

Edit: odd thought, but does anyone have a clue as to the actual numbers of people in this "brotherhood"? Just curious, because I have a feeling it's less than 40.

I understand that some people could have different opinions and have different groups. (Political parties for example.) but to make a group that hates on a TV show? Big waste of time.

Regardless of how serious the people involved in this so-called "Anti-Brony Brotherhood" are or aren't, there's no way it can gain any large following. No group built solely on hate can ever become powerful. There has to be something that they're for. Hell, people generally think of the Nazi party as being built solely on hate (oh christ, I can already here people yelling at me for "comparing them to nazis") but even they had an idea of their "ideal Aryan." A group can never last if all they're doing is working against something. The only thing that can hold a group together in the long run is a positive ideal, something that we're all working for. So, whether these people are joking or not, whether they just think the fandom is dumb or feel true hatred of us, they won't last, they won't become a large group, and they won't achieve anything.

This is a thing now? I've never heard of such a thing. Why is there a group dedicated to hating us and getting rid of us? Did some of out number insult them? Did we attack their defenseless villiage with a band of ninja? Did one of us kick their dog?

I may have just slightly attacked a village with a band of multicolored ninjas... just a little bit... You know how it is, you're bored, there's a village with no heroes or defenses of any sort, and you just happen to have ninjas wearing pony merchandise, and maybe you send 'em in to rough people up a little bit... but then they take it too far and next thing you know there's only one survivor who has now sworn a lifelong vendetta on all you hold dear. It's happened multiple times, actually... I've accidentally caused crusades against bronies, Star Wars fans, Whovians, Trigun fans, gamers, Durarara fans, FMA fans, Furi Kuri fans, general otakus, etc. etc. etc. It's quite annoying.

I saw this Anti-Brony Brotherhood Facebook page, and it honestly seems like either a legitimate troll page, or created by someone so imbecilic that it comes across as a troll page. Judging by their posts and replies to other people, they can't be serious?

Meh. I'm not phased by it. What are they going to do? Abuse random people on Facebook and rant about how Ponies are ruining their lives? Bahahaha!

Alight Everypony, Hold on to your Hats cause I'm about to shoot out a Rant and a Half! I just saw a bunch of garbage for the first time that people are calling the ABB!... I can't believe, Honestly Believe, an organization like that exists! What is the Problem with us!?! We are a very positive and caring group that believes in Love and Tolerance! How can that be perceived as anything else but a Good Thing?!?! When I saw the site, my very first thought was my brain comparing the ABB to Nazi Germany and the more I thought about it the more the similarities became apparent. The only main reason I can fathom that the organization exists is  because we are different from them. (Sound Familiar?) Why they go to the extreme instead of just ignoring the subject tells a lot about the way they think. I feel like they are a bunch of people that have a lot of pain inside and a lot of time to try to make others feel as bad as they do. They could have been brought up with that notion by parents that feel the same or they could have came to that conclusion through traumatic situations instead of choosing to make their life better. Either way I feel sorry for All of Them because their perspective on life is severely skewed and for most people like that it is hard to get out of that mindset. Now that I'm a little cooled off, I do wish the best for them and hope they realize you don't have to hate someone just because you don't agree with them. If anything, they will just bring us closer together in the end and that's something the world sorely needs right now!

I am simply not scared. (I am more worried for their health, hate helps no one.)

It is not like they can hurt me in any way. Though I can never be mean to them, I't does not look right to be mean to them. (it is giving them the feeling of power over their enemies) and goes agaist the moral of the seies.

I just tell them to go and play bf3 or something and they go with it.
