adventure Brony Quest: Prelude

This takes place before any of my Brony Quest games, chronologically speaking. I wrote this for school and everyone loved it. So here is an interesting story.

 

 

Brony Quest: Prelude

 

      When The Three Amigos, Frank, Spencer, and Matthew came to Equestria in 2013, most people thought they were the first few humans to visit that land. They were wrong. In fact prior to their visit, there was another man who came to the once mythical land.

 

      September 1957, Breed Academy had opened for their first school year. The school was experimental as it took local amiss kids and nurtured them into mature young adults. The head of this bold program was Edd Cohen. He created the program after noticing that the 'weird' kids of a public school were not doing so well, even in the special class.

 

      Edd won the lottery in 1960 and expanded the building and improved Breed. He duped the government into giving him some state-of-the-art technology with his money. He discovered a rare emerald that held great power. With this newly obtained tech. He began to build a portal. Students thought of Edd's project as controversial.

 

      Edd Cohen finished the portal in June of 1977, the first year of his newly made summer camp. He inserted the glowing green emerald. With a flash, he was gone. Edd woke up to the sight of two figures. Each appeared to be on all fours. "who are you said?" said Cohen.

 

      "I found you on the outskirts of Applelossa!" replied one of them, in an aged female voice.

     

      "Say your not from around here are you?" said another voice, male and teen-aged.

 

      "Now you're safe and sound here in Ponyvile."

 

      Edd stood up, "WHAT?!!" Edd cohen said in sudden fluster.

 

      Cohen's vision got back to normal. viewing the gaze of two ponies. "You're at Sweet Apple Acres, we farm the apples this side of Equestria." The elder said.

 

         Edd ran out to get some air. he looked at the sky and said, "Looks like I'm not in Massachusetts anymore."

 

      He walked towards the nearby town, wondering if there were any other humans. He was bewildered to see a spirited town filled with same anthropomorphic animal. This time he saw some with horns and some with wings. He began to take note of the various yet seemingly abnormal things he witnessed. The ones with wings can fly, the ones with horns can use some sort of kinesis, Thought Edd Cohen. Every window he looked into and every pony he looked at, they all had one thing in common. Whatever is pictured on the side of their rear is what they are best at.

 

      "Hey! What is that thing?" and "Sweet Celestia! Who is that!" were among the comments given. He sat down and was saddened with a cascade of thoughts.

 

      Meanwhile, Breed Academy was beginning to decrease in fame and started to show signs of decline. "Have you noticed that we have yet to get any students so far this year, right?" said the principal, looking very glum.

 

      That night, Edd began to plan. Since he is a human that can have several good talents, he can use that to climb the ladders of society here. Edd Cohen began to get used to his new surroundings. He stayed in Equestria and began to become successful. In 1980, he held down a political job in Canterlot, the capital city of Equestria.

 

      Back in MA, Breed Academy had cut back on funding and students have always seemed to have complained. Only if Edd was back he could have restored the school to it's former glory. Little did any Breed staff know that Cohen's portal had actually worked!

 

      Edd Cohen was at his estate in the mountainous region northwest of Applelossa, when a royal guard knocked on the door. "Your majesty requests your presence!" said the stallion. Edd went to the door and opened it, he was both excited and uncertain. Later that evening he met Princess Celestia, who pretty much was the ruler of Equestria at the time and both talked endlessly. Edd Talked about the portal and Breed Academy (Not knowing that the school's pending bankruptcy and grim fate), and Princess Celestia talked about her god powers to raise the sun and here sister, Luna.

 

      Edd Cohen later became Celestia's top adviser and often traveled the country spreading the teachings that he did back at his academy.

 

      Breed Academy closed down in the late summer of 1989, after multiple threats from the bank, Department of Education, and the board of health. No one has ever seen Edd in a long time. That same time, Edd Visited Sweet  Apple acres and saw a 10-year old mare, her name was Applejack.

 

      Edd retired in 1994 and in January 1995, he had a dream, a dream that would lead him to write a prophecy. In October of 1998, in his dying breaths he told Princess Celestia his prophecy.

 

A New Englander will be born

to one day witness Equestria

and thy will save this land from 

an evil force.

 

     Meanwhile, warped out of nowhere, deep in Everfree Forest, with an evil grin said "My Reich will rise again!".

 

      On that same day that Edd died of old age. A New Englander was born. his name was Frank.

 

Prologue

 

      "Sweet Celestia!" cried Twilight Sparkle as she read an old journal dated from long ago.

 

      "Frank! Come look at this!" Twilight called to Frank.

 

      Frank, Spencer, Matthew, and their new friend, Twilight, had recently save Equestria from Lavos and Dr. Klax (Brony Quest 2: Day of Lavos). It had been three years since The Three Amigos saved Equestria from the Third Reich.

 

      Frank walked over with his sword in hand, looked at the aged journal and read it. It contained the prophecy written by the late Edd Cohen.

 

      "Hey Spencer! Hey Matthew!" yelled Frank, to get their attention.

 

      They both came over and they read too, read the old book. "Maybe we aren't alone the first humans in Equestria?" said Matthew.

 

      "By Edd Cohen" read Twilight out loud.

 

      "Edd Cohen? Isn't he the guy who started Breed Academy and mysteriously disappeared?" said Frank.

 

      "Apparently yes." replied Spencer.

 

      "The first one in a thousand years." The three young adults and mare, were scared by the voice. They looked only to find that Princess Celestia was behind them.
