A dark night arose upon Canterlot as the Royal Guard Worked tirelessly to Protect The Newest Prototype Airship The Royal Shepard A Small But Incredibly roomy Airship that has no match in speed, But little did they Know a small Group of a Talented  breed were Daring enough to attempt to steal the new Prototype.

In the darkness a gray earth pony with a blonde mane Crept along and Waited to see if the coast was clear. When it finally came time to move forward he rolled a small marble over to the three Guards that have been in front of the ships Boarding Area. The guards looked baffled as they take a closer inspection of the marble. As they Stare perplexed by the marble it Evaporates into a small fog of  halothane vapor, rendering the guards unconscious. " Alright I have taken out the front guards, Move up"  whispered The pony as he carefully boarded the ship making sure not to make a noise.

Duskrunner whistled to himself as he crossed a guardspony pegasus approaching him along the palace hallway. The guard flashed a light over his face briefly before smiling at him and turning the light over to the ground to iluminate his path. "Careful does it." He said.

Dusk smiled his gratitude and went back to what he was doing; shoving crates onto wheeled palettes and wheeling them the long path to the doorstopped-held gate into the boarding dock. The slowly moving crate gradually made its way onto what the earth pony believed was the Prince's new ... what was it a racing barge?

Celestia, the last crate was heavy. And Big! Why hadn't he chosen to move the big one first?
No matter. He'd gone through worse things and - boy there was a funny smell in the air now- and the overtime was good. Double overtime really; the last of his co-workers had slipped off an hour ot two ago to get some actual sleep.
(completely goes through area and fails awareness check for 3 sleeping guards and a crew of sneaking ponies).

With a huff and a shove Duskrunner gets the big crate onto the gurney to belowdecks. "All right, let's get this over with!" He says aloud cheerfully (bad habit, talking to himself - made worse after hours of being alone) as he begins to tug on the rope pulleys that make the gurney start to sink into the ship.

Moonlight Fire crept through the hallway leading to the air ship, blending in with the shadows. She heard several guards approaching, and she stealthily used her magic to make herself invisible. The guards continued to walk, not noticing her.

Moonlight let out a breath of relief as she briskly continued down the hall, finally making it into the room with the ship. She had been expecting the guards to be there, but they were all passed out. She grinned and crept closer.

The gurney was unloaded and Dusk got the crate into its proper space. He sat down on the floor resting his back against its side. Pony it was heavy. And now that he looked at it it wasn't as tightly sealed as he thought it was. Or maybe that was his imagination?
In any case time to start inventory. He looked around in the near-dark for the checkboard, making his way past crates he knew contained machine parts and perishables as he went.

crimson walked calmly through the shadows, whistling quietly to himself as he did so. just as he came within sight of the ship however, two guard ponies noticed him and attempted to stop him, holding him at spearpoint, "HALT! this is a restricted area! nopony except for guards and royalty are allowed beyond this point! leave now!" commanded one of the armored guatds. crimson simply rolled his eyes before grabbing the shaft of his spear and thrusting it forward, hitting guard number 1 in the face with the butt of the spear, knocking him unconscious. the second guard cursed and attempted to stab at crimson with his spear, but crimson smirked and quickly dodged the attack before punching guard number 2 in the face, knocking him unconscious as well. "tch, amateurs...now, time to meet up with the captain...wow, that sounds weird coming from me..." mumbled crimson before stepping out of the shadows, revealing himself to be a strongly built, white furred unicorn with a red messy mane, red cat-like eyes (his left eye having a scar) and a black musketeer hat. he then quickly trotted onboard the ship, noting the three unconscious guards as he entered with a grin, "nice one..." thought crimson.

Twisted Fate could feel the crate stop moving, "Step one complete now just need to wait for him to leave the area before I can start looting this ship." Speaking to himself.

Putting his head against the crate to listen for steps, "Seems he is still here...leave! I'm starting to get sore sitting here." Speaking to himself again.

"Du-do-roo, du-doo-roo. Aw no..."
Dusk held the candle away and peered into the work docket.
"Aw no aw no aw no."

He grabbed a crowbar and rushed over to a small crate near the rear. He pried open nails, a sound which was incredibly loud in the hold, and pulled out a shipment of whitegrape wine.

"These were supposed to be in cool in the captain's cabin."

He was hyperventilating.

"All right, all right. Check em out! Wine. Cider. Champagne."
He read off as he opened a crate here and a crate there and filled a pair of saddlebags with a half dozen bottles from each crate.
"So long as there's a few on ice for the maiden voyage nopony'll notice if I have to slip the rest of the vintage up a few bottles at a time! Gottahurry-if-I-wannabedone-bysunrise!"

He hoisted the saddle over his flanks and headed the other way, making to bypass the slow gurney and go up to the Captain's Mess via the stairs.

Moonlight Fire crept into the ship, smiling at how simple it was. The mare felt her leg get cut on something sharp, a crate, and silently cursed. The mare closed her eyes, and expertly using her healing magic, she sealed up the wound.

Moonlight continued into the dark ship, looking around for the rest of the crew. "Hello?" She whispered into the shadows.

'Hello?' He heard.

Thank Celestia, help! He ran back into the hold and yelled out the gap from the gurney.

"Dewdrop is that you? Oh thank Celestia. Somepony bungled and the Very Important Pony shipment is down in the main hold. We need to get it up even if it's just a few bottles at a time. Grab a saddlebag... no.. wait... find the ice!"

Moonlight felt her heart thud in surprise as she heard somepony answer. But he must've been confusing her for a different mare, because he called her Dewdrop and was talking about ice and some important shipment.

Moonlight slowly began to trot away, fearing this pony would see her. As she backed away, she felt her hoof trip on a crate, and she tumbled down with a loud thud.

Ignores whether or not Dewdrop replied or is comming back, begins a slow 'patrol' from the cargo hold up to the Captain's Mess, stopping at the hold to load 18 bottles and at the Mess to load the bottles into the sealed closet with the wine racks.

The pattern is slow because he's about 6 hours past due for sleep and essentially is running a stairclimber steeplechase.

crimson's eyes narrowed as he noticed a stallion patrolling the ship, mumbling something about ice and shipments, causing him to chuckle, "man this guy is a spaz...but since he's not a pirate, i'm gonna have to knock him out..." thought crimson before quietly sneaking up behind Duskrunner, "sorry buddy, but im afraid your gonna have to either let me tie you up or get in a crate and stay there, because I cant have you roaming around this ship at the moment..." whispered crimson, pressing the tip of his cutlass, Helios, to his neck.

((if this isn't allowed then ignore the last part and just say crimson was watching him from the shadows))

The moonlight above illuminated Lume's neutral, if not tired expression while she hid inside a bush just outside the dock's entrance. Taking into account the other ponies she had as a crew, strength, as well as stealth abilities, weren't exactly the best features of that orange earth mare. Patient, she just waited for the others to clear the path of Royal Guards. When she saw that it was safe, she crept her way into the dock, then into the ship.

As soon as she climbed up the ship, a loud thud could be heard from not very far away. Barely seeing her path into that darkness of a place and walking as carefully as she could, she soon spotted a yellow unicorn lying on the ground.

"Moonlight." Whispered Lume. "Be quiet, for Celestia's sake. If we get caught here, we're done for." She extended a hoof to help her partner up.

Star Belle peeked out from the bush she was hiding behind, almost dropping her lavender beret. I should ditch this beret and vest, she thought, her many pocketed vest the exact same shade as her beret. It's only getting in way. She shook her head. Focus, Star, you've got to get to the ship. Alright, it's only about 400 yards. If I stay in the the shadows I won't get caught. She took a deep breath. "Here goes nothing," she whispered to herself as she hovered the ground by a few inches, so her hooves wouldn't make any noise. She had conquered most of the distance when one of the guards fliched. " Mmmth!" She muffled the cry with her hooves. Gosh, she smelled bad. She needed a shower ASAP. She nervously peeked out from behind the flower bed. It was only about fifty feet. With a deep breath, she posed herself to start flying fast. With focus on the enterance, she put a hoof on her beret and and raced to the enterance.

"Ergh, sorry," Moonlight grumbled, ignoring the hoof and stumbling up. The night already seemed to be getting off to to a bad start. She just hoped nobody had heard her clumsiness. "Lume, is the rest of the crew on board yet?" She grumpily asked the carpenter.

(Sorry, Moonlight's a pretty grumpy pony XD)

Gulps loudly. Not sure what to do he alternates between holding still and holding up his front hooves.

"I swear if you heard anything crunch or break it was just me opening the crates for these shipments. I swear I'm only taking them up to the cabin's mess a few bottles at a time because we boxed the crates in."

Looks around and takes in Crimson's appearance.
"Oh Celestia he's one of Blueblood's musketeers. Please, please, please don't be angry."

Lume raised an eyebrow at how her extended hoof was ignored, and tried to play it off. It didn't bother her that much (since that kind of attitude actually resembled herself), but after all, she was just trying to help.

"Lume, is the rest of the crew on board yet?" She grumpily asked the carpenter.

"Probably." She said, looking around and scanning the area. "If not, they oughta be here soon. I'm gonna start warming up the engines as soon as Cap'n Gray gives me permission."

Lume's ears were perked up by the sound of heavy objects being dragged around. Curious, she took a few steps in, careful as always. Soon, she was able to spot other two of the crew members.

@@Duskrunner,@,

"Any of you guys seen Gray anywhere?" She asked, straightforward. "We'd better take off soon."

crimson sighed, "relax, im not gonna hurt you, I just cant have you walking around running your mouth to everyone about me being here...so your gonna have to be tied up and locked in a crate, but hay, its better than dying right? so hurry up and find a decent sized crate, the sooner your locked up, the sooner I leave you alone..." said crimson evenly.

((uhh...crimson isn't a musketeer, he just wears a musketeers hat...))

Turns to the cute orange mare that just showed up, titls head to the slide slightly (away from saber) as he regards her flank and identifies a lightbulb cutie mark. He has a silly grin that's 1/2 attraction and 1/2 sleep depravation when he suddenly realizes ponies have been talking to him.

"seen gray anywhere?"
"take off soon"

some other voice he hadn't heard before spoke up from somewhere. "if you two are done here , we need to hurry."

and lastly the pony he just met and thinks looks like a musketeer said something funny and - wait did he just say
'locked in a crate'
'better than dying'
'sooner you're locked up'

Duskrunner's mouth opened and it moved and yet, funny, no sound came out.
His miming routine ended when he realized this might not be the Prince's entourage moving up the maiden flight or taking a pleasure cruise.

Fear initiative- he turns on the spot and begins to gallop into the captain's cabin!

Twisted heard plans to take off, "Wait, no this isn't what i had in mine...something went wrong now i could possible be trapped on this ship!" Grabbing his knife cutting a small hole.

Peeking outside the crate he could see one set of hoofs, "Only one I can take that easy...just one card."

crimson raised an eyebrow at dusk's odd behavior, "what's wrong with him? and why is he checking out my marefreinds best friend? that's a bit strange...he looks kinda scared...and tired..." but as crimson was thinking, dusk made a desperate dash for the captains quarters. crimson rolled his eyes and sighed, "whatever, as long as he's not leaving the ship then were safe...besides...he's gotta come outta there at some point..." thought crimson.

Keeping an eye on everything happening, The earth pony decides to just watch to see how Things play out from the upper deck. chuckling at how things were playing out he almost failed to notice a Guard creeping up behind him. The Guard lifted the Butt of his spear in attempts to knockout the sneaky Thief. Hearing the Air around the spear as the guard went to strike Gray Barely had time to evade the blow. He turned around and looked at the guard as if happy to see a new friend "Hiya!" he said with a childish cheerful tone   "you here to join the fun?" Aggravated by his lack of any fear what-so-ever The guard  Used his spear to lunge at the cheerful Thief. the spear missed the Young Stallion and pierced his hat. Grays tone quickly changed "My hat...I don't like you." he said with a burning hatred in his voice "GET LOST!" He shouted as he Kicked the Guard in the face knocking him onto the lower deck forgetting the stealthy nature of the mission. "Cripes! my hat has a hole in it..."

Duskrunner makes it to the Captain's cabin amazed nothing happened. maybe it was all just a misunderstanding.
Yes, a misunderstanding. it's just an unscheduled trip and he's acting silly and-

"GET LOST!"
And a guard pony dropped onto a lower deck.

'Shipnappers!' He said aloud, not realizing how stupid that sounded.

He rushed back into the cabin before somepony threw or hit him with something, failed to notice one of the bottles he left dropped onto the floor, skid a few feet and landed hard headfirst into an open barrel.
One hoof twitches and his tail is the only thing poking over from the barrel's top.

In a few moments, the bottom of the barrel is filled with the sound of snoring.

Moonlight looked up and she heard many thuds and hooves on the upper deck. "Well, so much for keeping quiet," the medic said sarcastically, peering back around the hallway for any signs of trouble. Although she didn't see anything, she felt aprehensive, and knew they had to hurry.
