On Deviant Art's website I came across General Zoi's Pony Creator, where you can, well, create your own MLP.  Here's what I came up with:

This is Bottom Line, a businesspony who, apparently, is late for a meeting, and not happy about it.

You'll notice he's a "blank flank".  One of the shortcomings of the app; oddly enough it only allows you to import cutie marks, none are provided.  Since it saves images as .PNG files, this can be edited in Gimp, Paint or any other image-editing program.  I just didn't feel like it.  Still, it's a fun little app to play with.  Here's a link to Zoi's Deviant Art page:

Appearance: Milky Fair skin colour for the body and dark brown mane and tail but she likes to dye her mane a lot so it’s never the same colour.

Personality: Shy, timid, a bit clumsy, honest and loyal but betray her and she’ll turn as vicious as a viper ready to strike.

Hobbies: Listening to music and playing on video games. 

Biography: Demetria was a shelter filly, always tried to make her family happy even at the cost of her own happiness, one day she met a handsome draconiquus named Voided-Khaos that captured her heart, her family didn’t approve but she fought for what she wanted. She now lives with her draconiquus fiancé and never looked back, she’s friends with Mane 6 and visit ponyville from time to time.

Personality: Reserved, kindhearted, low self-esteem, polite, well-spoken, intelligent

Hobbies/likes: Baking, playing with animals, foalsitting

This is my favourite OC Victoria, somewhat based off my IRL sister (and canonically the sister of Battenberg who is somewhat based off me) she's gone through a lot of development and is probably my most fleshed out character. She was originally mean and insecure but is now a much more cuddly pony who is still unsure about socialising with others but is much more willing to try. Her design has gone through multiple revisions, with a new mane and tail style and thee addition of her sock markings.

Thanks to a recent OC adoption, I have a new addition to my ever-growing team:

Jewelflame

A female crystal earth pony; Jewelflame had moved from the Crystal Empire shortly after it's return to Ponyville with her parents due to bad memories of King Sombra's reign. Having a strong interest in the crafting of jewels she wanted to establish a small business in town. Upon setup though she found the process tiresome and quickly backed out.

During this time she considered what she wanted to do, and came across an unusual ad from museum in an town called Derbyshire. The stated that they were looking for an interested applicant who was an expert in jewel-crafting and could apply it to the history of cultures. She was caught off guard by this, but could now see that she could apply her love and talents in a different way; the preservation and sharing of history. While she was a bit of a shy pony who kept to herself, she felt she could pass up the opportunity so made the trip to Derbyshire.

Upon finding the museum she was impressed by the scope of it; despite it's size and location. After speaking with the museum's owner, curator, and head archeologist Sojourner, she was allowed to try out for the position of Historic Jewelcrafter. In this position she studies how jewels were crafted by ancient civilizations, and the various ways they were worn as jewelry. During her time at the museum she has learned a lot and has even made new friends; especially after moving permanently to the town.

(Background is pretty rough ATM, but I think I have a solid foundation for her.)

Addition Details: Although not an interpretation of me in horse form, I've grown super attached to this OC and use her as a mascot for my indie games company. Hippogriffs are definitely a unique choice for an OC too. I like that.

Name: SkyDive 'Comms'

Age: 12

Gender: Male

Species: Pegasus

Timeline: An alternate dimension, approximately 20 years past the events of MLP: FIM.

Appearence: A slim but strong body. His primary body color is cyan, and his mane is red. His eyes are dark blue and he has a small scar across his left cheek. He also has a mechanical right wing. His usual apparel is Equestrian Military field combat uniform and gear. Hi cutie mark is a wing with a lightning bolt extending from the bottom.

Personality: Very tired and solemn from the battles and death he's been through, but strong and steadfast nonetheless as he knows he has duty to complete.

Backstory: Born in the remains of Cloudsdale under Princess Twilight's rule, SkyDive was raised to survive the harshness of the wasteland that once was Ponyville. He joined the military when he was five and eventually climbed the ranks to Captain when he was commissioned command over Military Task Force 141. Appearence: A blue body with a mare's muzzle, green eyes, dark blue mane, with yellow backhair and tail ends.

Personality:  A thrill-loving Pony (Doesn't hesitate to make very complex stunts), likes to fly on long distances but knows when he needs to be serious when it's needed, especially when it comes to work. He's quite stubborn sometimes and dosen't give up easely, due to his high determination. He will always try to find a solution to a problem.

Backstory: Born in Ferroviaria in the Trains Empire (a country next to Equestria) on a sunny day, Blue Trainsfeather was raised among trains and was fascinated of them. He made two friends out of the Ferroviaria Gifted Ponies School: Mechanic Spark and Emperor Blu Traincrown (he was the Imperial Prince at the time). He came to Ponyville (to visit) and saw a white unicorn mare with a mane problem (Rarity, It isn't the Mane thing about you). He met the Mane 6 afterwards.
