OVER HERE!" she called, her voice filled with concern. "WHATEVER YOU DO, DO. NOT. LISTEN. TO. HIM!" She flew over, slamming against the darker pony. "Run, Six, I'll fly over!" she said to him. My father was a chief in the village where I was born, my mother was a scientist doing field research. I caught a disease when I was less than a year old, it paralyzed me for months. My mother had to take me to cloudsdale to see a real doctor who could heal me. My father couldn't come with us, as he had a tribe of zebras depending on his leadership. My mother was devastated, but she knew I would die without help. I never saw him again. He was a nomad, so I guess I'll never find him. But anyways, my mother and I finally made it back to cloudsdale and the doctor managed to undo the paralysis, but my wings would never be strong enough to support me in flight. It was rough at first, but my mom was always there to help me when I needed her. She was patient and kind and so generous..." Ten choked on that last word, but quickly composed himself and continued, "when I was five years old, we found out that she had the disease as well, and that it was a strain that noponyhad ever seen before. I was always there for her, every day for almost a year, until one day... She told me to come close, she could barely talk. She told me that she loved me and that she didn't want to leave me behind, but she couldn't hold on any longer. She died in my arms as I told her that I forgive her, and that I loved her." he cried softly. "I was soon sent to an orphanage, where I was constantly picked on by the colts and mares for my inability to fly and scrawny build. I would have probably given up if not for one kind mare. She wasn't a very good flier, and got picked on too, so we were two outcasts who took solace in each other. Then one day, as if I hadnt had enough taken from me, she fell from the clouds during a race and I had to watch as she fell and nopony did anything to save her. I ran away that night and never looked back. I roam across equestria now, never really staying in one place for too long. Its a lifestyle that suits me; I'm going to walk until i die. Sometimes, though, I long for a purpose, a reason to live. I've got no drive, no friends and no family... Sorry if I bored you. It's just nice to finally get it all out". He blinked a few tears away as he tilted his head over to Riza. (I have returned from my epic long shower!) *Riza cried after hearing Ten's story. That action alone exhausted him and his head fell back to rest next to Riza's The bomb rolled under discord and exploded, leaking a dark blue cloud of anti magical gas. Then gas exploded around her and she coughed slightly, remembering the bombs that Ten had made earlier. "Thanks, Ten!" she called, relieved to have someone so diligent on her back.
