I'm a fan of Jimmy Carr, Jo Brand and Sean Lock at the moment.

I don't watch stand-up as much as I did a few years ago but when I did these are the people I liked:

 

Jeff Dunham (Still a fan of him)

Blue Collar Comedy Team (Particularly Bill Engvall. Love his Dorkfish album)

Gabriel Iglaceus (Can't spell his last name for the life of me)

Chris Tucker (I think that was his last name, I'm not entirely sure. He's the one who talks about his dad who throughout his life says stuff like "Oh, you got a job? But you aren't an attorney are ya?" though not that specifically but something very similar. Always putting his son down to make him do better)

 

I remember loving a show called Last Comic Standing. Man that was a great show and it's where I first heard of Gabriel.

Lee Evans is my absolute FAVOURITE comedian of all time. An absolute master at balancing both slapstick and observational humour in perfect harmony. He also holds the Guinness World Record (far as I know) of Largest Audience For A Stand-Up Comedy Show.

 

He sold out Wembley Stadium.
