Do you keep your hair neat?

This is something random I thought about just now. Do you keep your hair neat and orderly or do you not care whatsoever and leave it messy?

I don't rightfully care how my hair looks to be perfectly honest. The way it looks when I get out of bed in the morning is the way it stays for the entire day. My hair actually looks cool when it is wild and messy. Way better than when it looks orderly. Along with the goatee, it gives me a sense of coolness and makes me look a little awesome. :P

That depends. If I'm at home sitting at my desk, using my laptop (almost all the time), then no I don't really care. But, if I plan on going out in public, then yes, definitely, I always try to make sure my hair is neat. If it isn't, then I ain't going anywhere! :P

My hair schedule (Yes, I have a schedule) regardless of what I'm doing:

  • Shampoo in the morning (Head And Shoulders 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner)
  • Conditioner in the morning and add Bio Oil to the conditioner (Aussie conditioner)
  • Apply heat protection serum (Whatever is on offer at Boots, it's L'oreal currently)
  • Blow dry hair completely through whilst gently running a brush through it (paddle size brush, keeps it pin straight. NEVER TOWEL DRY HAIR)
  • Brush hair more vigorously once COMPLETELY dry to make it ultra straight (I LIKE MY HAIR STRAIGHT OKAY?!)
  • Spray a generous amount of hairspray in an upwards direction above head and let it fall on to hair (don't spray directly at hair cause it goes rock hard and you have to tug at it with a brush which will damage it)
  • Brush hair through again to make sure the hairspray does not just sit on the top layer.
  • Go and enjoy my day and then repeat the ENTIRE process at night when I go for a bath just before I go to sleep (:

UPDATE: I forgot to mention, I go for a haircut every 4 weeks without fail and sometimes I go after 2 weeks just to have my ends cut and my layers done.

DONE!

I personally like mine messy. I tend to like things better at their natural state, and my hair isn't an exception. I'll brush it occasionally to prevent knotting, but immediately afterward, I'll whip my head around and get it messy again. The neatest I like it is when I put it up, but even then, it still looks like I was just in a tornado img-1900181-1-laugh.png

I can't control this mane at all, no matter how hard I try to keep my frizz down, it still gets all frizzy.  I just pull it back into a ponytail.  Can't wait until it grows out some more so that I can cut it again.

Well, I can't say that never try :P

My hair has a mind of it's own, twisting and curling in whatever way it sees fit. I have very thick hair, and thick hair requires a bit of taming...

I never use hairdryers, so that increases my effort...

I try to avoid haircuts at all costs, but the bad thing is, our school has a strict "hair policy" :P

I always try to keep my hair as neat as possible.

There is a reason why I own and wear a wide variety of beanies.
When my hair is short I don't really care for it, I condition and shampoo it whenever i have a shower and that's about it. When its longer I brush and treat it better so eh

I shave all mine off. Muhahahaha!

... actually its genetic, started thinning out at 16... i'm doomed to baldness and theres nothing I can do about it.

i'm used to it now though, miss it when it rains though and I don't have a coathood :)

I put minimal effort into making my hair look decent. Which is to say, I comb it when I finish showering and then run a comb through it a second time when I get out of bed. Just to make sure it doesn't look god-awful. My hair being all long, it looks really bad when it's messy, and only slightly bad when I comb it (though still better than anything I ever do with it when it's short)

Ehm, nope. I have short hair, so there is never anything I would do to it. I still like keeping it neat but I don't do anything to keep it that way. Doesn't matter, my hairstyle is very simple. I know I look better when my hair isn't all over the place. My hair just looks naturally good, I don't need to do anything. It just stays neat but there are days when that doesn't happen. But that only means I need a haircut, otherwise I don't need to do anything.

I have a buzz cut. There is almost no need to trim it, style it, ect. I trim it every week or so. Sometimes I go to a barber just to give them some extra business.

I have a moustache though... It is treated like it's a celebrity.

I admire your will to keep your hair nice. I'd probably be only able to do that for a week or something xD

Since I have short hair(Just reaches the top of my shoulders) it's pretty easy to take care of. Brush it in the morning, sometimes in the afternoon and wash it every other day. It looks much better when messy.

I do have to brush my fringe though, since it starts to look like a lion mane if I don't brush it at least a couple of times per day. That's how I kinda got my username, too c:

You can't give my hair any shape, literally, it sits there on my head curling up slightly whenever it grows tall. Hair gel, foam ,spray, cement, concrete i tried it all. It will just go back to it's original position, my brush fears my hair because it will not be able to move it.

Only a full hair dresser procedure is enough to change it.  :)

Thank you ;3 I'll admit that somedays I get up and I really don't want to do it but I never wear hats or anything cause I'm scared that wearing them too much will cause me to go bald prematurely which is something that would be worse than death to me.

Basically this. I brush my hair for a few seconds if I'm going out and I obviously wash it when I have a shower... but that's pretty much it. tongue.png

Unrelated note: I have long hair. Long hair takes forever to dry. >_<

My hair is a veritable rat's nest, an unbrushable mass of curly hair that seems to change shape every other hour. Trying to get a brush through it just makes me look like I stuck a fuzzball ontop of my head, and the only time it could ever pass as "neat" is after a shower. Despite all that, I very much like my hair and other than get it trimmed every couple of months I generally leave it as it is.
