  1. 1. Are you in a lover's relationship?

  2. 2. Do you want/need a lover's relationship right now?

  3. 3. Do you like your relationship (if you are in one)?

That's a bit of an arrogant post D: I don't that 'getting anypony' is a fair thing to assume, considering everyone's expectations are different. Everyone's expectations of what is cute/hot/whatever is different, your perception of hot might be someone else's interpretation of ugly.

Also you're 12 years old? You're 6 to 9 years under age! o.o I hope to god nopony makes any advances on you.

If anyone does we might have a case of...

Pedofillya

YEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I heard that before. Don't worry. I keep a 9 inch long knife in my jacket at all times. I am skilled at using it. Anyway.......Good point. People say I am annoying, and they are right. But I like to be more in-mind than appearances. I care about the beauty inside. LOL So cliche!

Stabbing people for advancing on you isn't too "Love and tolerating" :/

But fair enough I guess ~

I don't care. Is it necessary to have a relationship in middle school? It's not even necessary in your whole life. You might want one in late high school or college or whatever, but middle school? That's being desperate.

No, you don't need a relationship in middle school.

From my experience, the youngest that people have ever dated the person they are currently married to is 16. And that was only a small handful of people who were fairly mature for their age.

Most likely, you won't meet anyone worth spending your life with until you're at least 20. There's time. Figure out who you are before you give your life to someone else.

I am fine with not having to deal with the drama and time wastage that comes with relationships. (Semi Joking)

I'm happy with my boyfriend. Since it's been almost 2 years it's nice to know he'll be there for me and I can rely on him. We may argue.... but I'm generally happy with him. He's better than anyone else I've had. :)

I don't feel I really need one because I feel perfectly content with my life otherwise. Granted, there some days where I feel a bit glum about it. But overall I am okay with being single. But right now I would say I do want to be in a relationship. Special circumstances on account of their being a girl I actually like.

There are way too many moving parts in my life right now for me to even consider adding another one.

I don't get enough sleep as it is. I can't imagine adding a serious relationship to the mix. The amount of sleep that I get would probably go negative.

Seeing people who are in a relationship on here makes me happy, but at the same time it depresses me. I know someday I might find that one girl, but I wish I had a girlfriend right now. I guess I can get too romantic sometimes, but eh, it's who I am. Compassionate, loving, all that good stuff. Unfortunately, I'm a little shy when it comes to talking to girls. I mean I'm somewhat good looking, but too shy. Lol I'm describing myself too much on here xD. But yes anyway my point is that I would like a girlfriend right now. Oh and:

Not in one. Don't want to be in one.

I can barely trust my friends (who I've known for years, some since 4th grade, and am very close to), I don't think I could even maintain a romantic relationship (since it's partly about trust). Plus I show 'love' in different ways than most people, I hate it when people touch me (I only let my family hug me so then I don't stand out) and would rather just crack a joke and make someone smile

I dated my first boyfriend for 3 and a half years. The relationship lasted a lot longer than it should have for several reasons, but I was scared to break it off and he wanted to make sure that by breaking up with me he wasn't going to hurt me. So we broke up when I was emotionally ready for it.

Anyways, after we did, I went to a large dinner gathering of sorts that evening. There were a lot of couples. Suddenly I felt lonely, but later I realized that these couples were much better for each other than I was with my ex. It's not just about being in a relationship. It's about being in a good one.

Not in one right now, don't really need one. Kinda want one though, but it's gotta be a good one. So far I have the terrible luck of dating girls that are too much trouble and don't care about anyone or anything but themselves.

Well, right now I outright refuse to be in a relationship. This is why:

The strongest bonds are the harshest to break.

One can only feel the pain of having to part with their marefriend or coltfriend if they decide to go to college out of the vicinity. I'd rather not make that kind of commitment if it means for it to hurt when I have to say good bye, it is just too much...

Smart. Wait until you're settled in life. :)

Long distance relationships are usually horrible. There are exceptions, but... it shouldn't be your goal in life to try to be one.

Never have, never will; my life, past, present, and future.

I am ugly, let's just get this out. I am the ugliest bucking thing on either face of any earth.

Next, let's put it out that girls...hate ugly. Which gives off the vibe, to me, that they are all worthless, shallow, creatures; with the sole purpose of crushing the 'nice guy' and any dreams he would have ever had.

But saying that would be very shallow of me. For even I know there are girls out there that genuinely don't care too much on outward appearance. However, I've only seen the friend zone in their eyes; because they will only date the guys that treat them like trash. Abuse, cheating, lying, it's all the same story, every time. Then they come crying to their 'friend', complaining about their boyfriend being a jerk....

That's all I'll be. A shoulder to cry on, and one to loan his jacket when anyone is cold.

To put it briefly, I quit. I gave up. I was never a good enough jerk for anyone. I am too caring; and the world won't see it. I decided I'll just die alone, because I wouldn't want to live on a world full of people who won't care for the caring as anything more than a sentient-lifeform to dump their problems on.

Judging by the poll results, most of us are lonely....Whether we need a second chance, or never received the first.

This is pretty extreme here, but you do have some points with what you're saying.

First of all, think about the kind of girls you're going after. I know this is going to sound shallow, but I am a firm believer in "leagues" of girls. Some are in your league, and some are not. It's a sad truth of the world.

Second, stop. Stop letting them cry on you, stop listening to all their problems, just STOP panhandling to them. People, especially those kind of girls, learn when they realize they can't just take you for granted. Don't let them drag you around with their problems, let them know that it's not your problem and you're not their personal therapist. I know it sounds like the most jerk move in the world, but it works, and that's the sad part. Of course, if it's a friend who you have no romantic interest in, by all means give her a shoulder to lean on. I've just found that girls who you're interested in but friend zone you seem to have a lot of ulterior motives if they come running to you for a shoulder to lean on.

Most importantly, never give up, but don't try too hard. If anything, chance will always be your best bet. What's meant to be is meant to be, and there is always a person for someone out there.

At least, that's my two cents on it all...

This is the most eloquent post I have read about girls like this... my earlier gay comment aside, I actually am a woman, although I have never been one to purposefully "friend zone" guys, and I never really understood why girls pull this kind of stuff. It's probably for several reasons, considering that

1. Girls can act like bitches to other girls for no real reason

2. Guys are simpler and are less likely to take a girl's rantings and such personally

3. Girls who are insecure and aren't convinced that they are beautiful look to be with "bad boys" for a variety of reasons, perhaps to give themselves a project and "change" them. I dunno, bad boys were always dickheads to me so I never wanted to bother with them

4. Many teenagers are extremely selfish and will do anything to get what they want, to make themselves feel good at the expense of others.

I've only touched on some of it... again I was never one of those girls because I wanted to be loved by someone who would treat me like a human being, not someone who could easily toss me aside for another girl. It was good enough to even have the attention from a guy. Usually I was ignored. My high school problems were different.

High school shouldn't count went it comes to this kind of thing. That is a mostly terrible time in a lot of teenagers lives, myself included.

Of course, I'm not trying to say that ignoring a girl is the way to get her to like you. It's just...

I mean, I used to be a "nice guy." By nice guy, I mean that I cared way too much and made too much of an effort. That only works on some girls, but it turns some of them off. And then some of them are just screwed up, but so many of us are blind to that kind of thing until it's too late.

It's better to just ride the wave and see what it lands on. I've always trusted more in meeting someone by chance rather than actively looking. And honestly, if you get friend zoned, a lot of the time it's better to just forget about the person, especially if they only come to you when it's convenient for them.

The way I see it, jerks only rule the dating game for the first thirty years of life. Then divorce and break ups comes around, and those who manage to avoid it in their relationship or marriage finally realize that they were right to give that "nice guy" a chance.

I would like to find a good girl to date. My problem is that I'm pretty shy and whenever I finally build up the courage to ask a girl out, she ends up having already been asked by another guy and I get pushed into the friend zone. Why me?
