I have plans for this RP to take an interesting turn soon. We need some progression though, there's not enough PC interaction to keep it moving currently. Once we get through this current bit, things will begin to glide into action.

He's meant to. lol I wrote in his OC profile that this was one thing he was known for. Most avoid him because they can't deal with his personality, and his psychic abilities usually cause fear because nopony likes having their thoughts read. He knows little self control for it either, he'll just blurt your thoughts out.

Do you think I can enter a second character (either Hack or lost thought, both in sig). I can't seem to take Muddle seriously in this Rp, at least when it comes to solving the mystery; but I also don't want to remove her either.

I would love to see more player action. I feel like you guys have been railroading a bit with my OCs, I want to keep the story, but there should be a bit more character interaction with PCs if possible. It makes it a bit more social. It also might give me some more ideas on how to twist the story around and make it more interesting for you.

 

Feel free to add in additional OCs, I encourage it in fact.

The RP thread

 

Dodge city has long been a peaceful place, but recent months have proven to be quite the opposite. Mysterious disappearances have taken place all over. Ponies don't go out at night anymore, for fear of being snatched away in the dark places of the city. The entertainment industry is taking a beating, because the once bustling night life has dulled to only a few brave souls who would dare to venture out, despite the threat that now grips their streets.

 

 

 

Rules:

-No alicorns (for the story's sake, they're too overpowered for this RP)

-OOC should stay in this thread if possible, unless it's something short that directly pertains to the current event you're describing, and would be better as a footnote under your post.

-No overpowered abilities. Keeping it fair for everyone, and better for the story as well.

-Keep it cannon as much as possible.

-Be reliable, and only join if you know you're going to keep playing.

So, this is just the basis of inspiration for your OC's then?

What abilities do they have exactly? I know they use magic by what you've posted. Are they Unicorns? The profile you posted before said Earth pony. (This won't be a problem, in fact it might add a bit of spice to the RP)

 

Right now, the whole group, minus a couple who have gone inactive recently, are in Clockwork Green's workshop. Clockwork is an inventor who has been well acclaimed for his automation technology, building clocks, elevators, and other useful inventions. Recently he's created a set of false wings, powered by a battery containing unicorn magic. This has become a point of controversy among pegasi and the other two races within the city. His newest invention, the magitech battery, has yet to be revealed to the public, but it will likely create the same rift between unicorns and the others.

 

This is where your OCs could be interesting You can choose weather or not you find the others right off. You'll notice missing posters for a few ponies, and the city hall has been recently bombed, so town square is being blocked off with a heavy police presence. Also, strange occurrences have been reported at the hotel, where a unicorn has been spotted more than once, leaving odd objects, messages in blood and sometimes rooting through baggage. She disappears via teleport if she's seen.
