Sunset timidly nodded in agreement as she slowly reached out a hoof to pet Vi. She was so soft and cute that she couldn't resist gently nuzzling the tiny fox.
"Y-you're lucky t-t-to have a b-best friend..." she mumbled. "o-o-or any friend at all..."
She blushed again as she realized what she'd said, and hoped he hadn't heard.

Dusk looked down, "i-i-i know wh-hat itts like, nnot to hhhave friends". He whispered. "I could... b-b-be y-y-your friend, i-i-if y-you want?" . He looked down, afriad of the answer he might get. For once, he was at ease with somelse holding Vi. Normally it only took about 3 seconds before he became jumpy again. "h-hhaving n-n-no f-friends is terrrible. Vi-i-i keepss me a-alive."

Vi seemed to like her nuzzling, so she kept it up, using it as an excuse to not answer right away.
"I-I wouldn't kn-know th-the difference b-b-between having friends a-a-and not... I-i-it's always be-been just the o-one..." she mumbled, her ears flattened as she looked solemnly at her scarred hoof.
"F-f-friends?" she asked. "I-i-i-if you w-want... b-but... I-I-I don't know h-how to b-b-be a friend..."

Dusk looked down, he knew the feeling. "W-well me and V-vi are frriends, and w-we j-j-just spen-nd time t-t-together, so if you want, we c-c-ould meet h-here a-again and just r-read. If you want" Dusk said. He had noticed her scars but didnt want to intrude upon her privacy. She had a very pretty face, Dusk whished he could see what was under that mane covering her face.

Sunset blushed and averted her gaze.
"S-sure... I-if you want t-to... I-I-I d-don't want to b-be a b-b-bother..." she mumbled. She still was anxious as ever but at the very least, he hadn't been staring at her or brought up her scars.
"U-u-u-um... I-I'm Sunset... S-Sunset Sk-Sky...." she squeaked out, voice cracking.. Like always, it felt like a lie when she said this. It probably wasn't even her real name.. Not even close. Sunset Sky was some placeholder name the workers at the orphanage had given her before the attack.

Dusk began to feel more confident. He had sucessfully managed a conversation lasting more then 2 minutes. "You look as beautiful as one too." He said shyly. Dusk looked around, and realized he still hadn't looked at Vi's book she brought him. He looked at the title. Equestria Divided. "H-h-have you r-read this?" he asked.

Sunset's small pink blush turned into a full-out red one, spreading all the way across her face.
"B-b-b-beautiful...? U-um... th-thank you..." she mumbled.

 Looking at the book's title, she nodded timidly.
"Y-yes... I-I read it a fe-few years a-ago... B-before I moved h-here... I-i reread it to-today..."

Dusk nodded. "I actually g-got to r-read the prequal b-but never this b-book. D-did you l-like it, w-was it good?" He asked is a slightly normaler voice. He hadn't been slapped and this mare seemed to enjoy reading, one of his favorite things in the world. "well Sunset, should be meet back h-here t-t-tomorrow. We d-dont h-have to t-t-talk, j-j-just r-read. If y-you w-want. Also, i have been very r-rude, i am Dusk S-shadow."

Sunny couldn't help but giggle sarcastically, "I wouldn't say that...I'm just another farm pony tryin to earn some bits to keep the home fed. There are tons of more deservin folks out there..." The mare's smile suddenly turned in an upset manner, "but I hope that I do someday...for mah family's sake..." She lowered her eyes sullenly as the saddening memories passed into her head, but quickly shook off the notion and forced another smile as she looked back to Bayonet. "Thank ya kindly for sayin that though. It's a pleasure to have met ya Bayonet," Sunny winked, changing the subject.

Ambrose walked to the library, she often found insperation for inventions, and never very ponies were there. She was walking in when she heard a pony talking about a contstellation, with a bit of wire in his mane. Ambrose walked over shyly. "Umm exscuse me, but you sseem to h-have some w-wire in your m-mane." She said quietly. She always looked to help a fellow inventer. This pony look like one, with the wire completing the picture.

Soaring squeaked in glee at the rising sun. "Yes! No more pitch black!" She said. And she was excited for other reasons..... 'But I am just going for coffee... with a friend.' She thought. "I should uhm.. get ready." She whispered fluttering past her sleeping friend, her wings as silent as she could make them. She flew home to straighten herself out. She let out a small squee, though. Soaring chuckled, passing Pinkie, passed out in a bush. "There's Pinkie for you, an all night party animal." She giggled.

Ace parted the curtains eeeever so slightly, and peeked out the window at the morning sun he saw a mare giggling to her self but paid her no mind Ace was being sneaky today. After that rude mare missed her stars Ace got the thought that she would pruobly get some payback. Ace climbed out his window and started sneaking across the roads.

The rising sun caused Guardian to snap out of his sleep. He quickly jumped to his hooves, ready to fight. After the grogginess cleared from his eyes he finally realized that it was morning. "Morning already?" he said cracking his back. "That is the last time I sleep on the ground." he looked around and noticed that his new friend is no where to be seen. 'She must be home now. Speaking if home, I need to get back and get ready!' With that in mind, he rushed home, took a shower, brushed his teeth, (going to regret that later) and combed his messy mane, which refused to cooperate. He ate a slight breakfast and headed out, only to realize one thing.....Where is he going? He does not remember saying where exactly they were going for coffee. He facehoofed at his stupidity and decided to go back to the park in hopes that she will be there.

Sparky quickly sifts through his mane when hearing this and finds a piece of wire "Thanks." Seeing her cutiemark he says "You're good with machinery,right? I love to build myself."

Soaring stopped brushing her mane. "Wait.. where are we going for coffee?" Soaring questioned herself. "Discord, kill me now! Maybe he's still at the park." Soaring rushed out, fluttering her wings in hopes of moving faster. "Hi, Pinkie." She said quickly passing. "Hi." Came a woozy reply. Soaring reached the park and stopped to catch her breath. 'I did it..partly.' Soaring smiled a little and went into the stargazing area. 'Well, start looking, Soaring!' She thought, glancing around.

Guardian got to the point earlier and saw that she was not there, at least not yet he hoped. Going to pass some time, he decided to do some meditation. He sat down in the morning grass and closed his eyes. He emptied his mind and concentrated, adding in a soft hum every once and a while. He was snapped out when he sneezed, 'Somepony must have been thinking about me' he said while getting back to what he was doing

Sparky was excited to meet someone, he hadn't seen too many people since he started his new project just last year, but something's different about this pony,but he just couldn't put his hoof on it.

Soaring was lightly blushing, oblivious to most things. She was thinking.. about somepony. "Heh. I'm not too lonely now, am I?" She whispered to a rabbit sitting nearby. Soaring facehoofed. "All because of that midnight clumsiness, I met one of my only friends." She murmured. Soaring thought a little more. 'Maybe I could search a little more.' So she fluttered around, searching for her friend. 'Aha!' She spotted Guardian...meditating? She giggled. She landed softly a few feet behind him. "Boo." Soaring said in the most not-scary-at-all way.

Ambrose took a step back scared by the loud voice of the pony. "U-um j-j-ust l-looking for a n-new p-project. What b-brings y-you h-here t-t-today." She asked politly. She tried to keep the quaver out of her voice. She was terrified of new ponies, even though she had started the conversation.

Oblivious to the world around him, Guardian did not hear the mare sneak up on him. He was getting close to his happy place when all of a sudden "Boo" shocked him out. This sudden voice was enough for him to freeze in place. His eyes shot open and shrunk to the size of pin needles as his frozen body comically fell to the side. Even his tail stuck straight out at the surprise.

 

After a few heart beats he finally relaxed and looked at his intruder, only for his heart to skip a beat when his eyes landed on his new friend, "soaring Heart" he said in a whisper as his face blushed at the mere sight of her.

She started to laugh. "That was...hahahahaha! I'm sorry. But really." She couldn't keep from smiling. "You're so cu---" She stopped. "Uhm, heh. I was just gonna ask where we were going for coffee? Ahem." She hoped she had saved it. 'Boom. You scared him more, doofus!' Her mind shouted at her. Soaring smiled, her heart beating at a rapid pace. She started to giggle again. "Boy, did I scare you!" She playfully teased. Her wings fluttered. "Hope you're not THAT scared." She asked, a hint of concern in her tone.

"I went here because I found something in the sky,two constellations,but they weren't any two constellations," Sparky says while showing her the page he was on "See this painting? This was painted over 700 years ago - 724 to be exact,and I found these same two constellations together no more than 5 minutes ago - sorry,where are my manners? What project are you working on tonight?"

Guardian shakes his head and gets up to sit down on his haunches, "I'm not THAT scared, just surprised is all." he said as he chuckled too. "Now, where to go for coffee." He brought his hoof up and tapped it under his chin in thought. 'Sugarcube Corner?' he thought, then quickly shot it down 'Not in the mood to listen to Pinkie Pie'
