Huh. Well, thank ya fer servin' in the defense of Equestria, anyhow. Or, err, Canterlot. Wherever ya'll swear loyalty to. Ah suppose ah could make room fer ya, though it's goin' to get a mite crowded at the rate ponies come in lookin' for work. How do you feel 'bout harvesting apples?

After Applebucking Season is over would you go on a date with me. *tenses uncharacteristically nervously* To help me learn my way around town better that is. *Tacked on more nervously and quiet than even flutershy* and maybe afterwords get diner at the Shamrock Cafe.

Also, since you don't seem to know, us soldiers swear to protect Equestria and swear our fealty to Princess Luna. Or at least that's what a soldier swears, I don't know about guards.

Because, Princess Celestia has sovereign rule over all things dealing with internal affairs and economy and the like. She has limited authority in the circle of the armies. At the same time Princess Luna, having a more suitable personality for the task, is appointed with foreign affairs.

So we swear fealty to her instead of the crown as a whole.

No porblem, ah'm sure ah can find some time. If ya want a quick 10-second tour, though, there's a better pony to talk to. Or a real informative tour, with bits o' history sprinkled in. ...or one that'll point out where all the sweet shops are.

Nah. Apples have been what our family's depended on fer generations, and it's never led us astray.

Well, if it helps any I could watch Apple Bloom. From what I've heard, and seen first-hoof, her and her friends are a lot like my friends and I were back in the day.
