There's that dark part of me that wants to see out of bile fascination and just the whole twisted curiosity something that screams "you don't want to know" invites. The more sane part of me also knows I'd probably regret it and have the last bit of hope for humanity that dwells within me shattered. Keep in mind this is coming from a Creepypasta freak. Although, I have heard that most of the non-horrifying sites on it(like sites for pirating shit) are shitty and the ones on the more dubious part of the normal internet(like Pirate Bay) are far better. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The stuff you can only get from Google is "the tip of the iceberg" as some would say. Its basically a market for stolen items, drugs, hiring assassins to do your dirty work, and illegal porn. Granted that I'm a law abiding citizen, I'm not going to go in there except for the occasional 4chan spree. I hear there's plenty of illegal stuff, even places to hire a hitman. I have a pretty innocent enough mind, and I'd rather not desensitize myself. They say ignorance is bliss. I'd rather not know what goes on in the deep web. They're so weird to the point of hilarity. I will say that I don't like everything from the dark side, but I do like a good chunk of it from there. Blackened 511 Posted August 2, 2015 Share Posted August 2, 2015 (edited) I've been there about once or twice, but for a while now, I've been extremely paranoid about going on there in case I accidentally stumble upon something that could change my life for the worse. Hell, I've heard that your IP address could be put on a government watchlist just by simply looking at some of the shit on there, and all of those stories on the internet just make me more hesitant to go there. I do use Tor sometimes when I think I need more privacy than the usual or to circumvent some region locking, but even then I only browse the regular web. I'm extremely curious about it still, but I don't have the courage to even try to access it.
