Xena sighed. "Well, it looks like we're going to have to do this the hard way." He muttered under his breath. The aura beast then sent a small part of his aura into the ground. "I just have to stay in this long enough, then it'll all be over." He thought, before firing multiple aura spheres at Thunder.

Thunder smirked, as each sphere hit him, his body phased and it moved in a wavy way as the spheres if energy hit him. And the explosions where just sucked back in, and all the sounds where just echoed in a glitched manor. Then when tempest stopped. Thunder spoke. His voice all phased, and echoey. "Confused?" He questioned

Xena was slightly confused. "What in the bloody name of Luna are you?" He asked, as he felt the seeds of aura he had placed under the ground begin to sprout and spread underground. The aura beast then smirked slightly. "Let me guess, your some split personality of Thunder?' He asked.

Thunder smiled "no I'm still thunder, I've just gotten stronger" he said "see I know how to use my electrical abilities...and my speed. I'm faster, but here's the new thing I discovered, that my body can do. Every magical ability you use, I can absorb... Gives me a edge on surviving the blasts of your aura. I would be dead if I couldn't. But if I take to much in, I become unstable like I am now....a ticking time bomb full of energy" said thunder.

Xena sighed. "Well, this just got a bit more interesting." He said. The aura beast then teleported right next to Thunder, as tendrils of aura came out of the ground. They then began to suck any excess magical energies out of Thunder. "I always have a contingency plan." Xena then kicked Thunder out of the arena. "Now, don't make me kill you. At least you have a family to go back to."

Thunder dodged the tendrils and the kick. "If you trying taking it from me, you'll explode. And mostly likely die because the explosion will be internal....plus...a hole in this stadium" said thunder. He grunted, and the ground below him cracked, and shattered "I'm sorry but, this is my time. Time for me to actually make my daughter happy, this wish, I'm using it for her. She wants to be normal so that's what she is getting" he said holding out his hoof. "Now the fun part is what I can do with this energy, once held in."

Blitz was hit square in the chest and slammed into the other wall as energy continued to rush into him. His body was going overload, he had to do something. He then used his telekinetic abilities to split the beam, but was still inflicted hard. He then noticed a small opportune. He then aimed a super concentrated beam of telekinetic energy straight into Soles talon, which damaged it significantly.

Blue Hurricane rubbed his throat as he got up. Slapping the filly had not been his finest moment and it was clear that everyone here hated him now. Well, there went the friendly subversion strategy. 

"Hmph, she was freezing me. I was within my rights to do that" Blue Hurricane said, severely tempted to slit all of their throats. He held back though, knowing that fame and fortune would be his if he calmed down. Still, the pegasus simply settled for glaring at the filly

Sole cursed as the blast hit his talon, but drove the blast back with his hand until he grabbed blitz by the face. "If you like energy so much, then eat this!" He growled, before blasting him in the face with a wave of energy, and following up by uppercutting him in the head hard.

Thunder gained more focus, and the unstable energy was contained. And he focused on the fight. "Pain? PAIN!? You have pain. Did you remember what happened with me and dawn. Do you remember how much I went through... I almost killed myself, but then that little girl up there, came into my life. I ain't giving up no matter what. I am not letting another person down in my life. If I lose, then I'd rather die, so either I'm dying today, or winning" he said confidently.

Xena sighed, and simply facepalmed. "Thunder, I know what it feels like to lose someone, or in your case somepony, important to you." He said. "My siblings were hunted to near extinction, and Tempest's family is just now starting to grow after centuries of being hunted. The only reason I am alive, is because one of Tempest's ancestors gave me the opportunity to escape. If I win, I'll give the wish to you. I am content with my life as it is, and so is Tempest." The aura beast then smiled. "You actually remind me of someone I used to know, but I'll get to that after one of us wins this stupid thing." The aura beast then got ready to attack, but waited to see what Thunder would say.

"Then what's the point in fighting this if you want to give me the wish...." He said getting into a stance "you know what....I don't want to know. I have an idea why....but let's get this fight over with. If I don't let this energy go... We might loose the stadium" said thunder chuckling a lil bit as his wings shot open.

Blitz flipped around trying to recover from the spin. But instead he built his speed in the spin and turned his flip into a deadly upkick nailing Sole right in the chin. He then withdrew out just in case Sole recovered from the attack. He then readied his next move.

Whiplash felt her heart pound hard as the second intercom sounded. It would be impossible to get out of the fight. The mare put a hoof on Crimson, frowning. "We don't have a choice, although it's obvious we're not going to hurt each other," she sighed, trying to find a solution. "Let's go," she said hoarsely, walking towards the arena with her head slumped down. I'm not going to hurt him, I could never bring myself to hurt him, the Pegasus kept thinking, stepping into the arena.

Xena simply smiled, and nodded. He then charged at Thunder, and rammed him into the ground. The aura beast then threw Thunder into the air by the mane, and jumped above him. When he began to fall, Xena headbutted Thunder, sending him into the ground. "Well, at least now I won't have to hold back, since you can handle what I throw at you." He said, laughing slightly.

Thunder hit the ground hard, he coughed up blood. And then looked up, his side burned. He then flicked his wings and appeared next to tempest kicking him in the gut. Then he shot a lightning bolt at tempest shooting him down to the rings floor. With thunder landing a kick to his stomach once he landed.

"Well, the crowd seems to be making their opinions very clear." Topaz commented. "Whiplash's performance in the last tournament didn't earn her any fans, and I think the audience wants her to progress any further and produce a repeat of last year. At least they aren't chanting."

Xena stood up, and glanced at Thunder. He then drew Tempest's actual swords, and charged at Thunder. He then slashed at him, leaving a noticeable wound on Thunder's side. "This is starting to get interesting." He thought. The aura beast then sighed slightly.

Thunder dodged the other slashes. But winced as one caught him greatly. Making him react quick and punched xena in the gut, then he shot lighting through tempests. Leaving a remarkable wound. He was thinking about using his giant energy mass inside him. But he was afriad that would've killed him....and possibly thunder since he might not know hot to stabilize the blast right.

Grace watched the fight that almost broke out in the lounge. It seemed Blue finally crossed Crimson's limit. Still to see him get cut down would have been a good thing in her eyes.
Her hollow eyes fell on Snowstorm. From his name, she already had him down to using ice magic and related things.
"Nothing I can't deal with" The charms on her leg help hid her magic from others, but also did many other things for her. She thought about talking to somepony, but she didn't know who to talk to. her eyes always made talking to others a problem.

Crimson gave Blue one last glare before sighing deeply and nodding, trotting off with Whiplash. Once Crimson entered the arena, he grew angered at hearing the crowds chanting, he growled and glared at the crowd. "I swear to Celestia, if you all don't shut up, I'm going to make you all extra crispy!!" Said Crimson, igniting his body in flames to make his point, he then turned to Whiplash. "You can make the first move, cutie." Said Crimson calmly.
