Hello everypony!

AppleShy Sparkle

Recommended Posts

Hi, i'm AppleShy Sparkle. I'm from Sweden and i love MLP. My favorite ponies are Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash, with Fluttershy just behind. Another pony i like alot is Cheerilee. Also, i would really like to draw some pictures of MLP, but unfortunately i have no artistic talent, (i know this isn't really needed, but i would like to have a drawing table for the computer to be able to make pictures in more solid color compared to regular pencils). I also don't have any friends that like MLP (that i know of) and i will most likely be here often since i don't have anyone else to discuss MLP with. Even if that wasn't the case, i would probably be here pretty often anyway, since... well, it's a forum about MLP, enogh said. If this was a bad presentation, which it probably was, i apologise for being so bad at this stuff.

Woo! 'Nother Twilight fan *brohoof*

Anyway, welcome to the town. I've actually always wanted friends like that in the show. They seem more like a close family than just a group of friends. I'm actually making it a goal of mine to try and have that kind of close connection with people.

Enjoy your stay here! And don't worry about screwing up on grammar occasionally; everypony goes through it. ;)

Welcome, AppleShy! You're now part of a great community where everypony cares (and some are crazy)! I'm sure you'll love it here. ^^

As for a drawing program on the Mac, I'm not sure, but I think that GIMP and SAI are compatible with it.

Who done messed up my formatting? T_T

SAI is an excellent program, and it's simple yet powerful. I'm just not sure if it's available for Mac's or not.

Personally I use Photoshop CS5 for my work, but that's definitely not free, and it's pretty complex.

AppleShy Sparkle. That's a wonderful name. Welcome to the MLPforums.com community! You'll have a magical time here and the friendships you'll be encountering are awesome!

Call me a gutter dweller, but Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash are my favorite ponies also. Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy following right behind! I don't have creativity built in me also, so drawing ponies will be difficult for me. My friends don't show any interest in MLP: Friendship is Magic, so I can't discuss about the show to them if they're not interested at all. Don't worry about the presentation, we all have had that and if you ask me, your presentation was worth reading.

I'm Triforce Ty or just Ty. Hope you'll have a magical time here and see you in future discussions. :)

I just checked GIMP and SAI. SAI wasn't compatible for the Mac. but GIMP was. I'm downloading it right now :P

All righty then. GIMP is as capable of doing the same things as earlier versions of Photoshop, but the interface is a bit clunky. Once you get used to it you'll be fine.

Welcome AppleShy! I think your presentation was fine.(I'm not good at it either..) As for drawing, i have the opposite problem. I do have some artistic talent but i never have time to perfect it ;/.

Anyway, i hope you will enjoy this forum as much as i do <3.

PS. yay~ for being a Swedish fan! You are definitely 20% Cooler now. ;)

Fortunately, we have a week off from school, so i'll hopefully get some time to learn it. And i'm going to try and get a drawing table for the computer at christmas :P

Better run, run, run, run, run.
