Stupid alicorns...he thought as he put his hoof up to the side of his head to check for injuries and was surprised when he pulled it back he found it covered in drying blood. Quickly taking out some magical bandages and his canteen he washed away the blood and applied the bandages. Walking back to the others, he walked up to Majestic and asked, " Good morning Majestic, how's your day going?" as he tried to say it in the nicest tone possible, though he couldn't hide to smell of shinged fur or the bandages. ---- As soon as the missiles were detected. The Enclave's new anti-missile defense system came online, destroying all three missiles before they hit their intended target. The officials of the Euromane looked up as Ms. President looked down at the button. One single press and the missiles will fire. Just one single press. Ms. President hesitated a bit, knowing that she'll be dooming intentionally thousands. But she pressed it soon after that thought, and in a single second, hundreds of missiles left their compartments. She watched out of the window, seeing the missiles flicker in the distance. The defense of the Enclave should be overwhelmed with these hundreds of missiles. Each missile were to attack important sectors. They were going to carve the Enclave to the Coalition's mercy. Majestic Bloom looked up from watching President Rune win, "Fine, what about you? You don't look very healthy, what happened?" She asked concerned. AA batteries were to be installed in every city. Then the reverse-engineering of the ships will start on a massive scale. In order to invade the Enclave, they needed ships. Blacklight responded, though some of his earlier anger could still be heard in his voice and he sat down at the table and ordered a drink. ---- The Enclave moblie missile defense vehicles managed to destroy roughly 35% of the rockets before they hit, though the sheer amount of them overwhelmed the system as they hit. Nearly wiping out the entire first defense line and most of the communication grid. Momentarily causing disarray in the Enclave ranks as CO's were forced to send their fastest pegasi as runners in an attempt to communicate to the front lines. Though in Major Enclave cities there were only three confirmed hits as the stationary defense wiped out all nearby missiles. The rocket trucks followed behind, firing on locations that seemed well defended, even after the missile strikes that rained down on Enclave controlled Gallicimane. Arrow thought. It could've been better. It would've been fun to pretend to be in a combat situation instead of just sitting there being pretty. Blacklight 118 January 12, 2014 Share January 12, 2014 @@Demirari, The Enclave second defense line were nearly broken during the first waves and were only held together by the Enclaves superior air power, with pegasus bombers braving AA fire to halt the advance, though losing a third of bombers, but managing to disrupt supply lines and destroy a good portion of enemy heavy artillery. Fighting on the ground however was brutal and bloodily with intense house to house fighting. Luckily, their communication grid was brought online though was only 50% operational. Majestic Bloom asked. The head commander looked at the situation. They needed more of those Whirlewinds, those bombers did a hefty toll. He blamed himself for not guarding those artillery better. The Northern Union made use of their tanks to cut down on the enemy. The effectiveness was astounding to the tank commanders. Especially the more heavier TDs. A pincer movement was planned, one going west, the other going south. They were going to trap the enemy at the center. The center of the peninsula was a death trap for an army cut off from supplies. Blacklight replied as he took a drink from his whiskey bottle. ------ The Enclave commanders immediately took notice of the pincer movement and immediately decided on a strategy of a fighting retreat, using bombers to hold off the pincers while they retreated eastward where two raptors would brave enemy fire to evacuate the troops and resources they had managed to find in the city. On the front lines, COs quickly discovered the devastating power of the enemy's tanks and began using changing tactics for example they would have one or two peguasi would wait on rooftops for enemy tank and would drop on them and plant explosives to destroy the tanks while snipers would hold back large companies while the main body retreated. He said, not wanting to gamble more than he would have had anyway. 'Now, I'm leaving. I'm done with you.' He starred walking away to the building him and Blackjack we're staying in temporarily. Moving towards it, he was glad that was behind him. What he learned was that punching robots gets you shot, drunk, and raped. Deciding it was time for him to wind down too, he slipped his saddlebag onto a rack and lay on the couch, attempting to sleep. It was nearly midnight now, and it was way too late to do anything. He cringed at everything that happened today. He was shot and put his friend in danger. What a great day. He drifted off, still thinking about it... OOC: Can we skip to like 3 in the morning?
