Gotten off Fallout. I see the similarities. If you wanted it not so simple, I would change luck up to have a much bigger aspect ((roll 1d10 + Luck and add that as a bonus to any test)).

 

I'd say that depending on the difficulty of the test (a well known pistol would be easier to fix than a unique custom made one), you can increase or decrease their skill for that test.

 

Will we be able to choose the stats like in Fallout?

Players still need to make their characters.

 

How many stats do we start with to allocate?

 

How many skills? Or are we choosing 3 and getting a boost like in Fallout?

 

How much does each stat give to a skill and which skills?

Players will be given 30 skill points and 10 stat points. All players will start with 15 points for each skill. Stats will vary according to species.

 

Earth Pony

Strength: 6

Endurance: 6

Intelligence: 4

Agility: 4

Charisma: 4

Dexterity: 4

Luck: 5

 

Pegasus Pony

Strength: 4

Endurance: 4

Intelligence: 4

Agility: 6

Charisma: 5

Dexterity: 6

Luck: 4

 

Unicorn Pony

Strength: 4

Endurance: 4

Intelligence: 6

How come pegasi start with 1 more stat point? And those 10 stat points can be put anywhere we want, am I right? Same with the 30 skill points, right?

Yes, allocate them to the skills and stats you want. Players will be given more points once they level up. As for the pegasus's extra stat point, that was a mistake i overlooked.

I was also thinking guys, why not make intelligence effect medicine, alchemy and repair also. Because genrally those kind of things would be effected by someones intelligence.

EDIT: And if we can, would it be possible to add in buffs? I'll give an example.

 

 

Unicorn A meets Earth Pony A.

 

Unicorn A uses Levitate! Earth Pony A loses 10 strength! (-10 Strength)

 

Earth Pony A uses Fight or Flight! (Options: Gain 30 Strength or Gain 20 Agility and 30 Dexterity) Earth Pony A chooses gain 30 strength! (+30 Strength)

 

And so on and so on.

Dang! Alright then, I can wait. I'll RP as Hiccup, and meet Toothless later on then.

 

Oh, also... You can probably mix the buffs in with the skills. So you would need to be at a certain level to use the buff. Example: "Levitate 1" for Unicorns is unlocked at level 5. You could also add in upgrades to the spells if you reach a high enough level, such as "Levitate 2" at level 10, "Levitate II" at 25, and "Levitate III" at 50.
