Critique of a new OC

Hello everypony, I just finished a rough-draft of my new OC Gilded Denarius, and would greatly appreciate any suggestions or helpful hints for him. Remember this is still a rather rough copy so he has a few loose plot points, and is missing some character fluff, but I would love some advice before going further.

Some of the fluff you could add is some examples after he moved, some details about his family, et cetera. Stuff like that.

 

But this is a great character!
