Scootaloo gave Fluttershy quite the game early on, but as time progressed, the Fluttershy fans came out ever modestly through their votes to gain control of the game. It was a strong run from Scootaloo fans, but she simply could not outdo a Mane 6 character tonight. Looking forward however... we have... FLUTTERSHY VS PRINCESS LUNA PART IV!!!!! For a place in the semifinal no less! In its history, Princess Luna has been 2-1 overall, but vote turnout has only reached two digits... will we see Fluttershy tie the series up and head to the semifinal, or will Princess Luna use her Royal Voice to power herself into the semifinal? As we wrap up this decently close Round of 16 encounter, we move forward to another potentially exciting encounter! The Group D winner, Pinkie Pie, is setting her sights on a marquee quarterfinal matchup with Applejack as she prepares to face Applebloom, the Group C runner up! Which of the two characters will take a hold of this Round of 16 encounter?! Which character will place their hoof ever closer to the World Cup prize? Well ladies and gentlemen, Pinkie and Applebloom are just about ready to emerge from the tunnel into the Estadio Coltelao for today's Round of 16 encounter! And here they are! Ladies and gentlemen... I always knew the main 6 would beat out everyone else. They are, after all, the main characters. It's natural that they would have larger fanbases. Luna isn't a surprise either because of her massive following. Don't let it get you down. I knew they would never win the whole thing, but I got a huge rush from Scootaloo beating Celestia and Zecora beating Chrysalis.
