Well in all seriousness, the clone thing was getting carried away. Something had to be done and unfortunately it was on a sour note to an introduced new character.

Also I don't know how I feel about that conversation going on between Nik and Melissa about suicide and traumatizing a clone. Let's keep it sensitive and toned down because you are treading onto uncomfortable territory.

Oh hey we're back up!  On the bright side, I finished my drawing of Zoey while the site was down XD  Also, yay or nay for the Raikou gijinka?  I have a concept in mind for him, but if it feels like we (or I in particular XD) already have enough characters I won't post him

Yea it honestly really puzzles me considering I have a C+ in the class. She seemed fine with the 91 I got on the Spanish exam, and didn't seem to bat an eye at the 89 on the English exam, but the response for the 88 in Science was, "yea but you could do better." I've never even been particularly good in Science either, it's always been one of my least greatest subjects so I don't know what she was expecting. I even told her what the teachers said, which was that the tests are all incredibly hard and a lot of kids get grades lower than what they usually get in the class itself. So yea... I really have no idea.

Maybe it was encouragement, as little  and vague it may seem. Like a "Yeah I know you can do better, keep at it!" sort of thing, just kind of lack luster.

Great!  Well, here it goes!  XD

 

Character's Name:  Raiga

 

Pokemon half:  Raikou

 

Age:  16

 

Gender:  Male

 

Appearance:  A little something like This...  My drawing isn't great though, so let me explain!

 

About average as far as height and weight go, but he looks very much like the pokemon he gets his powers from.  He has a hardened, intricate bone pattern growing from his head.  His skin would appear yellow at first glance, but that's due to the very fine yellow fur covering his body.  He has black tattoos on his biceps, thighs, and back that match the markings on a Raikou.  He also has the noteworthy sabertooth teeth and Raikou tail.  His hair is a very pale blue.

 

His clothing is a modified Monk's robe from the Bell Tower in Johto.  The left sleeve is missing, and the fraying near the torn edge would suggest he likely tore it off himself with his teeth or claws.  He has a flowing cloak that matches the long fur on Raikou's back.  

 

There are two growths near his left wrist that resemble a Raikou's claws, and small sparks of electricity can often be seen arcing between them.  His toes also end in large claws, so he's forced to wear sandals.  His right arm is, for the most part, normal.

 

Personality:  Raiga was raised from a young age to keep in control of his emotions - he's aware his powers come from a legendary pokemon, and as such he has to stay in control in order to prevent from hurting anyone.  He's a very calm and collected person, and prefers to avoid conflict.  Some may label him a pacifist, but that isn't the case.  He will fight if he has to, but it is very difficult to provoke him into one.  If it seems as though he is going to be unable to avoid a fight his first response is normally to use Roar to try and intimidate his enemy into fleeing before the fight can begin.

 

He may come across as wise for his age, but that's just because he takes the time to think about everything he says.  Some may think he's slow because of this - they would be mistaken.  Raiga's voice is a deep bass sound, almost like the sound of rolling thunder.

 

Dorm Number:  Oh hell...  Do we have one that needs a room mate right now?

 

Misc/Comments:  He keeps a whip coiled around his right forearm, which is usually covered up by the sleeve of his robe.  He doesn't use the whip to fight with usually, but more like the way a lion tamer would use one.  He's able to crack the whip almost like a thunderclap, and will often use it along with his Roar ability to intimidate potential threats into backing down.

Raiga sounds like one chill dude. I always love the monk characters, they're usually the voice of reason and I think with a bunch teen gijinkas that are kind of quick to the draw, it'll be nice and refreshing to have that.
