Frost pushed opened the door to the orphanage, its creaky noise piercing his eardrums. He was followed by his wife, one Ember Typhoon. They had been married for almost a year now and had both agreed they wanted to adopt a child.

 

Frost smiled, "Today is the day Emby! We are adopting a child." He said in a bright tone, turning his gaze to meet Embers who smiled and nodded. "I'm very excited indeed!" She almost squealed in joy.

Project has laying on her stiff bed as she stared at the celling. Words echoed in her mind. "You will never get a home!" Your ugly" Your stupid!" yelled in her mind. She rolled over griping the sheets in pain and anger . She felt like punching through a wall or bursting out crying.

Ember spoke to one of the workers before prociding into the dorm rooms, followed by Frost. She looked around until she say a filly who appeared to be angered or sad, but she couldn't tell. She motioned for Frost to wait by the door as she went to sit on the bed next to the filly. "May I ask what's troubling you little one?" she asked in a gentle, loving tone
