You guys will be excited to know that I've decided to re-open Shifted up again, as activity seems to be a bit slower than I'd like and I've gotten a few more people expressing interest. I'll be adding three more spots. One of these spots must be a pegasus. The others can be any other type of pony. I guess that shall be yet another D- for german! Screw german, who cares about the german language when you can Roleplay with random people on the internet! I would like to add Scribblegroove, or whatever his pony name shall be, because right now his human name is Brad Metheny. I am currently writing his human background, but i will summarize what it will be about shortly here. Brad Metheny hasn't exactly had a tough life. He is a talented muscisian who is in his twenties, currently in the music acadamy for light piano music and composing (jazz, funk and groove obviously). He has a light for of autism, that allows him to imagine music to the extent that he composes songs to perfection constantly while he is doing something else. The problem of this however is that he could barely focus throughout his childhood because he was constantly busy with music in his head. This distracts him a lot sometimes, but when he has played piano for a while or sung he doesn't have as much difficulty concentrating, since he has expressed himself. Oh i am so looking forward to him freaking out completely when he has no hands anymore... I will edit this as soon as I have written the background story properly, i cant make it now since i am on my phone... But I wanted to be the first to apply for the new spots :3 Here is the link to the non-shifted OC page for now. In fact, I found flaws in many things that need changing for you to enter the Roleplay. Has my post stopped everyone from posting? Shifted is not like the rest of RP World. This roleplay is not meant to move at the speed of light or like a chat room. In fact, it says so right in the rules: Activity, however, doesn't mean moving at the speed of light. In order to keep the pace steady, you must wait until two people have posted before you prior to making another post in the thread. If, however, it has been at least one day and only one person has posted before you, you may post again. This rule may be changed or removed depending on activity. I will ask in the future that things do not move so quickly, otherwise I will have to make it so that three people must post before you. This is just ridiculous. @_@ I cannot keep up with this pace. I was asleep this entire time, and then I have to go to work afterwards. I will ask in the future that you please demonstrate some restraint and wait for a more few people to post before posting again. There's a lot of people in this RP and I don't want back and forth between the same people happening in span of a few hours. As I am a person (and Klopp) who works overnights, it means I essentially will never be able to keep up as I am around at uncommon times. Now, now don't get me wrong. I was saying before that things were dragging along a bit and going kinda slow, and they were. But this is kind of going in the other direction a bit too much. A happy medium is where we should be. It's okay to go fast if a lot of people from the RP are online and posting, as this means that people are able to keep up, but not if it's just a few. I'd define a happy medium as being approximately four to five posts a day if the majority of the RPers are not online. That's not per person, mind you. But that's as a whole. Now, that's not an absolute figure by which you guys should aspire to. It's just a general number, so don't take it too specifically. If most of us are online simultaneously, as I've said again, (I just want to make sure there's no misunderstandings, hence my repetition) then a faster pace is totally fine. Do you guys think it is ok if i reply instantly to kro;re? Its been 20 Hours since i posted, does that count as a day :3? Otherwise i'll just wait 'till one of you guys posts again... It's just one of those things that's like an unspoken rule, so I'm sorry for just assuming everyone knew. Your excitement is quite energizing and I can appreciate that. :3 If there's at least seven of us on though and looking at the RP, then that speed would be acceptable. On another note, I was wondering if you guys could give me some feedback on my RP'ing. I know I have posted a little too much in a very short period of time, but aside from that, how is the content? Not fishing for compliments, I really want to improve my writing and roleplaying capacities... And finally: @, Is the rate of progression all right with you now? I am really cautious on when I should or shouldn't post now, but I really want me, flo and electro to catch up as quickly as possible... If you gotta catch up and you're separated from the group, I really don't mind you going a bit faster. My favorite video game reference was the Kingdom Hearts one. I just couldn't help myself.
