Actually, he still freaks me out to this day.
CinemaBrony 1,273 Share December 25, 2013 What gave me the most re-occurring nightmares as a kid was definitely the Queen's transformation from "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", more specifically that close-up reveal on the Queen's new hag-face after the change is complete. The whole scene in general (though it's now my favorite scene in the whole film) still give me the chills. Couldn't find a regular clip of the scene (this one only has the instrumental score):

Celtore 2,751 Share December 26, 2013 (edited) I only need one video for this one: Yes! So much freaking yes! I used to watch so much of courage the cowardly dog when I was a kid, but I stopped after that Ramses episode. I would have changed the channel on Ramses' first appearance (just look at that animation!), but my mom was watching the show with me and I didn't want to show weakness. I didn't sleep well that night. There have been very few moments that have triggered nightmares though... none that I can specifically remember. The only other scary thing I can remember frightening me pretty badly was the freaky tunnel scene from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. (I was in grade 1.) Metemponychosis 1,144 Share December 26, 2013 (edited) Nightmare Moon... Hahahaha... Bad joke. Sorry. This may be weird... But in Robocop II there is a scene showing the bad guy's brain, with the eyes and the medulla in a tank and that freaked me out for days, for whatever reason. I think I was twelve. And when I was younger: Maleficent, from Sleeping Beauty. Now I just think that she is badass and should take Queen Chrysalis as her ride. EDIT: Scar from Lion King... Indeed. Brother killing brother because of the crown is not new, and was not new at the time. But it hit me hard at the time. CT-1138 3,164 Share December 26, 2013 (edited) Forgot about these ones. This, the 2002 Masterpiece Theatre version of The Hound of the Baskervilles, has since gave me recurring night terrors of being chased by a gigantic ghostly hound: And, of course, the giant f*cking spider from Arachnophobia, which gave me arachnophobia. I get scared just looking at the SOB. Edited December 26, 2013 by Dinos4Ever

MonoSpectator 4 Share December 28, 2013 I loved Invader Zim and Courage the Cowardly Dog, but I know that there was a LOT of episodes that really freaked me out. Are we not going to mention this freaky thing from the final episode of Courage?: Also, the death sequence from the Sega Dreamcast version of Mortal Combat always scared me really badly. Falling down a hole to those spikes was a horrifying experience. Oh, and Clocktower 3 always gave me nightmares.
Envy 5,476 Share December 28, 2013 I remember being scared of the beast in Beauty and the Beast when I was really young. I remember one time my mom having it playing in her room and when the beast showed up I ran out of the room screaming. xD I was easily scared... and still am. Although I can easily watch Beauty and the Beast now. lol
 Badges
