I was lurking around r/pcmasterrace when I found this. I'm shocked. Completely shocked. I don't even know what to say. If you've ever been to a nVIDIA-sponsored LAN, chances are you've met him before. And yeah, he worked for a heavily-PC-focused company, but at the end of the day, he was part of the gaming community too. He was one of us.

 

I give my sincerest condolences to Phil Scholz's family, and his co-workers at nVIDIA. The gaming industry has lost yet another great man.
