I have looked all through the profile settings and I cannot find where you can make a signature for posts?

You need to be a Muffin in order to give yourself a signature. Just post five times on any threads of your choosing besides forum games or roleplays. :3

Go to your profile page, and hit "edit my profile". Then on the bar on the left with all of the things to edit, you should see Signature. Click this and it'll send you to a place where you can upload, and save your signature.
