I enjoyed the Slopestyle event. It is cool seeing

people from different countries pulling off

Unique tricks. The downside about slopestyle is

when people get injured. Some people may

laugh but I am 100% serious when they fall on

their heads from that altitude. They might break

Okay, is anybody getting annoyed with the announcer who keeps screaming his head off? I mean, not to rain on his parade, but not every single thing is exciting. Also, last night he kept calling the medal placements early for Luge.

 It's too bad though about that 5th ring that didn't open. Leave it to the internet to overlook all the amazing choreography and focus on that one mistake.

 

Yesterday in History class my teacher told me that the man responsible for the opening of the last ring was found dead in his hotel room with stab wounds (supposedly killed by order or Putin) ... I'm pretty sure that this is a rumor though. Does anyone know the true story?

I'm looking to watch Curling! Some may say it is boring as heck but I think it is interesting to watch! I'd watch Mexico's performance but there's just this mexican guy in alpine skiing and didn't do that well in Vancouver so I don't think Mexico is getting anything in Sochi. Also, Olympics are funnier when you do bets with your friends (at least I think so).

Ohhhh, I watched some Figure Skating at break at school today, never thought it could be so amazing! I saw this pair from Israel that did great but the girl fell so they couldn't make it to the medal I guess. 

How well did the Chinese do?

Good for the Germans, they're taking the lead right now, I'm surprised Russia is not in the top 5.

It's fun to see that every country specialised at something - 

1. Germany -  Almost all their gold in gifferent kinds of slopes.

2. Canada - gods of ski freestyle.

3. Norway - it's like they skiing on regular basis in ordinary life there.

4. Holland - do they know that there are more winter sports then just skating?

5. USA - well, I belive snowboard was invented there.

6. Switzerland - Only country which got >1 gold medals and all of them in different sports O_o

7. Russia - Figure skating (We definetly ought to choose for specialisation sport with more medals).

I'll be honest with you guys, I haven't much paid attention to the games until this was posted on /r/pcmasterrace.

Yes, it required a comparison to something related to video games for me to pay attention to something related to Sochi 2014 xD I honestly don't care about sports (thank my dad and basically everyone else in my state for that, can't take five steps in Boston without seeing something related to the Red Sox or Patriots) so my participation in this thread will probably be limited to just this post.

Well, USA is going against Canada again for the gold on Thursday in Women's Hockey.  This is definitely bigger than the Saturday game, so you cannot miss this one.

 

But, we did lose to Canada last Wednesday 3-2.  Hopefully it's better this time.

The Men's final is on the last day of the Olympics is actually on the last game of any sport for these Olympics, which is on Sunday.

 

Even though hockey is one of my favorite sports, my favorite part (so far) is Noelle Pikus-Pace's run for silver in Skeleton. She kinda inspires me to do Skeleton myself, just for a hobby at least.

 

I'm just obsessed with the Olympics. I don't know why.

in my opinion i think the sochi Olympics gave terrorist a good chance to bomb something since everyone is so damn paranoid.. (i dont mean to be an ass but yeah im just waiting to hear on the new, "in todays news the sochi olympics has been bomb"  and me telling everyone, "i fucking knew it")

Nobody gives a shit about my country, hell even people in my country dont give a shit about it XD. But alot of people cheer on our athletes in the Olympics. My country is Slovenia, a country that's sort of under the radar, but we did win 2 golds in skiing, 2 bronze in....a shit...forget the name of the discpiline, and we got 2 medals in ski jumping,...and that makes me a little bit proud, since we're a country of 2 million, and we've got 6 medals .....

 

P.s: Maybe you know Tina Maze, and Peter Prevc, the two atheltes who brought us 4 medals.
