What Things Exactly Cannot Be Linked Or Shown On The Forum

I recently had a discussion about Celestia VS Mortal Kombat characters. I wanted to link a video for comparison but it does involves some blood and graphic material associated with fatalities or X ray moves

I am not sure if this is allowed so I did not link the video. I would like to know what is considered too violent or graphic so I can avoid breaking the rules. Thanks

NSFW and rule 34-type content is strictly taboo. Got a fetish involving ponies? We don't care if you do; however, we politely ask that you keep all fetishistic, pornographic, and other "not safe for work" material off of here, whether it is art, fan fiction, or otherwise. There are better places out there to get your clopping fix. On that note, shipping is permitted as long as it is "safe for work" and the topic is tagged appropriately, and images or other media that simply imply sexual content are usually fine, as long as there's nothing too visually risque. Keep in mind that heavy amounts of gore and violence contribute to NSFW just as much as sexual content, and that links to fanfictions, art or other media containing those themes is prohibited. See this FAQ entry for more.

I am guessing that if those movies are seen as NSFW then it wouldn't be allowed.

You should send a PM to a staff member showing them the video and asking them if it's okay to post it.

Combining these two posts into one as they pretty much sum up the answer to your question. If you feel as though you are unsure whether or not it will be okay to post the video, you can always pm a staff member and have them look it over. If they give the okay to the video, then you are free to post it, if not, then you are obviously restricted from doing so and expected to observe their judgement.
