Uploading Images

When trying to post a jpeg or a .gif, it will upload fine, however when I hit 'add to post' nothing happens. Is there something I should be doing that I'm not?

Can you test it one more time to make sure? The reason I'm asking is you shouldn't actually see the picture pop up, instead something more like this:

The picture would only show up once you posted it.

It doesn't pop up in the post window, rather as a very small image next to the 'upload files' button. This is as it was before, however when I would hit 'add to post' it would appear in the post window as a url-now nothing at all happens.

BTW, I don't know if it's related or not but when I hit the 'quote' button when replying to a post, nothing happens either.
