"Taylor!," he cried out "Renee!" he started looking around for any signs of movement "Officer Cain, member of the Kanto police force, me and my partner need to have a word with you!" Just as he finished, he began to climb the first flight of stairs.

Sekashi yawned and rubbed her eyes she blinked and looked at Indigo she was still asleep she chuckled and stood up and went to go get her pokemon from nurse joy she letted Luxray out The Luxray looked up at Sekashi with a ashamed expression. "Aw Lucy don't be like that its not your fault we lost that blue orb now lets wake up Indigo and get going".

 

She walked to the still sleeping Indigo and attempted to wake her up "Hey sleepy head time to wake up and get your pokemon from nurse joy".

"What? Oh hello. Did I fall asleep?" Indigo asked Sekashi. She got up from her position and rubbed her eyes. She went over to Nurse Joy and got her pokemon back. She let them out of their pokeballs and turned towards Sekashi. "Okay, now that we've rested what do we do now?" Emolga and Fletchinder were happy to see her and went over to their usual spots on Indigo.

As Sekel neared the Silph Co. Building he heard someone shout about being the Kanto Police Force. "Oh great. He is here." Sekel groaned. He recognised the voice. Going inside, he tried his best to stay out of sight. While trying to find out where Yveltal's follower was, he didn't realise that there were not one but two followers.

"Hmm maybe we can look for pokemon in Route 37 we could use a new team member to help us in our travels i'm pretty sure the bug catching contest is over which is dissapointing or we could learn more about the kyogre disciple and that blue orb thing she ran off with".

Indigo thought about the options for a bit. 'Get more pokemon or learn moore about the disciple and blue orb.' Indigo seemingly came to a decision. "Okay. Let's go and catch a couple more pokemon. Then after that we can try to find out more about that orb."

 

Fletchinder fluttered down and landed on Luxray's back. "Hi Lucy." Fletchinder said back.

"Ooo seems like out trainers are planning to catch a new pokemon i wonder what lucky pokemon will be with us on our awesome adventure" 

 

"Sounds great" Sekashi said as she walked towards the exit gesturing Indigo to follow "i'm still worried about that blue orb and what it can possibly do".

"I'm curious about the new pokemon too." Fletchinder said.

 

"And I'm not? I'm curious about that orb too but we need to strengthen our team first." Indigo caught up to Sekashi outside the Pokemon Center. "Okay. Let's head over to the Weather Institute. We didn't really get a chance to see what Pokemon were there." Indigo said.

"Yea, that'd be right." Comet said, taking Jared's hand to help her up. She was a bit too focused on possible pokemon she could catch if Jared's idea was right. Growlithe, Vulpix, Houndour, and Slugma. The trainer thought. I believe those are the fire types you can find in this region. Not sure if I'd like the last one all the much, though. 

 

Once the two had arrived, Comet noticed two all-too-familiar faces. That'd be Revvy and Cedric. "Great... We keep bumping into him, huh?" She scoffed in a quiet tone. The girl didn't care too much for the other one, for he seemed nice, but Revvy was just... terrible in quite a few ways. "Not that it matters, I guess. Anyways..." With that, Comet summoned all three of her pokemon. A pretty impressive line-up, actually. Serperior stared curiously at the new pokemon. He didn't look too friendly. "I want you three to look for pokemon. Try to find something that looked fire-type-y too, okay?" With that, Serperior gracefully slithered quickly into a nearby tree, and Duosion drifted off. Heracross, on the other hand, turned up it's snout. ​"Well... You're too aggressive to do something like this anyway, I guess." With that, Heracross was returned to his pokeball.

 

Serperior's search eventually lead her to a few Growlithe, and something else in the bushes. Serperior immediately noticed Revvy, and turned up her snout to him. She didn't like the boy very much. Serperior  slowly approached the Growlithe, and gave a playful cry to it, trying to seem as friendly as possible.

 

Duosion, on the other hand, managed to find a Stantler. Duosion stared at it with a disappointed look. It didn't seem to be anything of value.

It never really occurred to Jared to release Comet's hand, and he continued to hold it as he sent Jag scampering off after Serperior. He sent out of his other Poke Ball a large bat pokemon. "Hey, 'Vern, go with Duosion, keep up with it and look for some fire types from the sky, okay?." With a silent nod, the giant bat flew up into the sky with a powerful sweep of its wings.

 

Purrloin, close on Serperior's slithery behind, noticed the pair as well. Evidently they were unpleasant, and with a soft hiss, Purrloin stalked up alongside Serperior, noticing it was trying to interact with the Growlithe. Wonderful, Purrloin thought. Dogs. Dogs like to chase cats. It slunk back around Serperior, leaping lightly up onto its back.

 

Up above, Noivern was pretty much aware of everything going on, with those freaky huge ears.

 

 

Back with Comet, Jared smiled. "So... What's the hype about fire types, anyway?" He asked, curiously.

"Hmm we can always battle if you want and train together hmm i wonder if there are cast forms in the weather institute. not that i'd want one " Sekashi said as she starts walking towards the weather institute motioning Indigo to follow.

 

"Castforms look a bit creepy if you ask me" said Luxray.

Enough of this waiting. With that final thought, Cain entered the stairway and began to climb the building, noticing the Porygon2 byt not paying as much attention as he would've had he not lost his patience.

 

"Taylor... Renne!" One last try to lure them out as he kept his hand near Honedge's Pokeball.

"Battling is good but I just want to know if there are any Pokemon at the Institute." Indigo said to Sekashi.

"Not to me. They just look weird." Fletchinder said to Luxray.

Sekel concentrated and made antimatter go up his arms. Surprisingly enough, the antimatter actually helped to ease the pain. Grinning, he quietly walked up the stairs and laid a palmful of antimatter on the Yveltal follower's back. "Remember me?" Sekel asked him. He still had no idea that there were two followers in the building other then the one in front of him.

The antimatter was powerful enough to fling Cain up the last few stairs, he brushed himself off. Despite being a powerful attack he had enough lifeforce spare to regenerate it quickly.

 

"You..." He got himself up to his feet and stared inquisitively at Sekel. "I though draining lifeforce was permanent... Perhaps," A revelation came to him. "So that's another Disciple secret, we regenerate our personal lifeforce... Which means we must be immortal." However, now was no time to let fascination get the better of him, he released the familiar Honedge from it's Pokeball.

Sekel grinned. "Yes me." He held out the Pokeball that contained his Gourgeist. "I really don't like that thing. The Honedge I mean." In a flash of white his Gourgeist appeared. "Immortal? Why would we ... oh. Lifeforce is a wonderful thing don't you think?" Sekel held his arms up. "When I woke up in the Pokemon Center, my arms felt like they were on fire. That appears to have stopped since I applied antimatter to it."

Most of the Nidoran seemed to just ignore Cedric and went on with their business. However one Nidoran♀ walked up to him cautiously. "Ni?" she says in a small voice. It was quite easy to tell that this one was the runt of the group.

Meanwhile the sparks Revvy was investigating led him to a tiny blue and black Pokemon. "Shinx?" the cat-like Pokemon says turning it's head as if it was confused. Revvy could see another Shinx that gave him a dirty look, most likely as a warning to back off it's sibling.

The Growlithe returned Serperior's cry with a playful bark before licking it. It seemed this one was quite happy, almost docile compared to the regal grass snake that was Serperior. Some of the other Growlithe noticed Jared's Purrloin on Serperior's back and began barking at it. Said barking made the nearby bushes rustle, with the head of a Vulpix poking out a few moments later. "Pix?" the fox Pokemon said confused. @,

Route 12 contained the normal fair. Some fishermen were lined up near the docks, a couple Pidgey flew overhead and some Goldeen could be seen swimming in the water along with some Magikarp. However near the end of the route stood a strange man who took interest in Rin. "Hello there..." he said. The man wore a hood that hid his face and kept his hands in his pockets. He seemed like he was hiding something. "I see you have an Eevee, and a shiny one at that..." the man said in an unsettling tone. "You know Eevee is famous for having multiple evolutions. But I wonder..." he started. "Which one is the true evolution, if any?" he said. "Would you like to help me find out?" the man almost reached for Rin's Eevee at that moment but put his hands back in his pockets in an attempt to restrain himself.

 

 

"REGIIII" a large ice golem screamed in a high pitched voice as it was slammed against the wall by Gyarados. "Heh, is this the guy you get to guard you Kyogre?" the girl from the weather institute said. "I hope for Groudon's sake that his Regi is stronger..." With that the girl returned her Pokemon and headed deeper in the cave she was in.

The Growlithe returned Serperior's cry with a playful bark before licking it. It seemed this one was quite happy, almost docile compared to the regal grass snake that was Serperior. Some of the other Growlithe noticed Jared's Purrloin on Serperior's back and began barking at it. Said barking made the nearby bushes rustle, with the head of a Vulpix poking out a few moments later. "Pix?" the fox Pokemon said confused. @,

Serperior looked at the new pokemon. This pokemon was also a fire type, is she remembered what Comet had said about fire types in this region. If Serperior could bring both back to Comet, she would surely be happy! Duosion had upstaged Serperior by helping Comet catch that new pokemon, but if Serperior got two pokemon of one of Comet's favourite types, the problem would be solved!

 

There was a problem, however. Purrloin seemed to be bothering some of the Growlithe. Serperior gently nudged Purrloin with her tail, to try to get her to back off. She then playfully called to the Vulpix, and again to the Growlithe who had licked her.

Rin blinks as the man brought her out of her own thoughts, instinctively hugging her Eevee a little tighter.  "What?  N-No, that's alright...  Eve will evolve when she's ready.  I've offered to buy her evolutionary stones, but she wasn't interested in any of them."  She instinctively took a small step away from the hooded man - the way he was being so secretive seemed strange to her.

 

Her Eevee was staring at the man the entire time, the fur around her eyes still a dark red colour from where Rin had played with her powers.  The little pokemon's tail swished a little as Rin tried to step away - it seemed the little pokemon didn't like the stranger either.

Cedric smiled at the small Pokemon and reached his hand out. "Hey there little one! Would you be interested in joining my team?" And as if to reassure the Nidoran of its safety, Butterfree returned to Cedric to join Cloud in the welcoming of this potential teamate.

 

Revvy's eyes lit up excitedly at the sight of the two cat Pokemon. Trying hard not to squee in excitement, Revvy grabbed two pokebalks from his belt and let out the inhabitants, Skorupi and Ralts. "Chomp, don't do anything yet. Faith you're here for back up, so stay a little behind Chomp." As Ralts shuffled backwards and Skorupi scuttled forward, Revvy got a little closer to the Shinxes and tried one of Cedric's techniques. "So uh... Would either of you like to come with us?"

Noivern landed back in front of Comet and Jared heavily. It seemed to want them to follow it, it having noticed what was going on with Serperior and Purrloin from up in the sky. It took off again almost immediately. Jared shrugged at Comet and walked after his dragon.

We loved them in my hometown because of the cold, but that doesn't seem like a good reason to keep fire Pokemon in a region like this." As they walked, there was no reason they couldn't discuss. Serperior tilted her head back at the Purrloin. It was annoying. Soooo annoying. How was she supposed to please Comet if she could not lead these pokemon back to her? The pokemon then noticed something circling overhead. Whatever it was, it didn't look all that friendly. Oh the bother. Serperior had to get these pokemon to like her, as to lead them back to her trainer.

 

"Oh...?" Comet said in response to Jared's question. She wasn't quite sure how to answer such a question. And she couldn't dodge it either. Oh well. This could be useful, actually. No one would suspect the fact she was "following" a pokemon was odd, unless they to were following one. Excellent. "Well, there just so happens to be a pokemon I follow and adore of the fire type." Comet said, in a very calm and collected voice. "Your Noivern is also part of it's typing, I believe. Though, don't you adore fire types as well?" Comet had decided if Jared did, indeed follow a legendary, it'd have to be Victini. Meaning he should like fire types as much as her, right?

 

Upon Comet and Jared's arrival, Serperior cried with delight. This simplified things a ton! Now she wouldn't have to worry about herding the pokemon back to them. Serperior slithered back to Comet, awaiting directions. "Excellent work, Serperior! You found exactly what I wanted!" Comet exclaimed, patting the pokemon's head. The Serperior grinned in response. "But... I don't think I can catch both, right now..." The capture of two pokemon at the same time wasn't exactly easy. Plus, catching two similar pokemon was silly as well. "Uh... Which one should I catch?" Comet asked herself aloud in a quiet, almost desperate sounding voice.

Faith tugged at Revvy's pant leg and pointed at the two newcomers. Revvy looked down slightly annoyed, and after looking at what Faith had pointed it at got even more annoyed. Come on! I'm trying to catch a Pokemon! They better not get in my way. Revvy shook his head at Comet and gave her one of his signature smiles. "Just can't stay away from me can you Comet? Guessing you liked how rough I got when we first met." Revvy put his hand over Ellie's Pokeball, just in case either Comet, Serperior, or both didn't take the retort well. He gave another chuckle before turning slightly towards the two Shinx, making sure to keep all parties related to Come in his peripherals.

He paused as they approached their pokemon. Purrloin scampered up Serperior's back, leapt off its head, and landed snugly on Jared's shoulders. The yapping Growlithe followed. "Hm... I'll take the fox one. I don't think yappy here and Purrloin are gonna get along very well." 

 

Jared withdrew Purrloin. Noivern descended from the sky and landed with a thud on the ground near Jared. Although Jared wasn't sure whether beating this weaker-looking pokemon up was the best plan of action here. The Vulpix looked curious, not ferocious.

He turned his back on the prude, and knelt, extending a kind hand towards Vulpix. Growlithe seemed less interested in him now Purrloin was gone, although it continued to gaze at its pokeball.

"I like Fire Types, yeah, but that's less a god thing and more about being raised in Snowpoint City." Jared shuddered. "It's cold there. And typing isn't really a priority thing with mine." He paused as they approached their pokemon. Purrloin scampered up Serperior's back, leapt off its head, and landed snugly on Jared's shoulders. The yapping Growlithe followed. "Hm... I'll take the fox one. I don't think yappy here and Purrloin are gonna get along very well."

His words earlier did sound like he was, but it might have been just common talk from the distant region of Sinnoh. Which in itself was odd, as Victini was a legendary pokemon from Unova, not Sinnoh. But she wouldn't let it bother her... Much, anyway.

 

"Alright. Probably a good idea. Serperior seems to like that one more anyway." Serperior nodded, as it was a fan of the Growlithe a bit more than the Vulpix. But... she wanted Comet to catch both, and there was only one Vulpix, as far as she could tell. Serperior was just about to go up to the Growlithe who had licked her earlier again, when she heard something. And said something sounded very annoying.

Comet rolled her eyes at the boy's statement. How annoying he was. They were merely headed the same way. The same could be said for him. Was he envious that Comet followed the superior legendary? Hmph. Whatever. "I'm afraid I can't. Such luck is so terrible there must be an Absol around. Such wouldn't surprise me." She retorted. "Though perhaps the disaster of me having to look at you and hear your voice can be easily avoided by one keeping to their own business." 

 

Serperior chuckled softly, not feeling any need to retaliate against the boy as well. Plus, if she did, she'd probably just get her head hit again. The serpent slithered back to the Growlithe and playfully called at it again.

Kinda busy! Who does this guy think he is!? "Yea well I was kinda busy too, and thanks to you not being aware of your Pokemon, I had to hear Growlithes attempting to maul that Purrloin of yours. So you can go-" "Revvy!" Cedric was still over near the Nidoran's, but had heard what was going on. They weren't exactly the quietest of people. Revvy gave his brother a glare while Cedric returned it tenfold. The older brother sighed and smiled lightly at the sound of Comet's retort. She had the best comebacks, this Jared kid was boring. Cedric continued to glare at him, sensing that Revvy had made himself get off the wrong foot with Comet... Which tended to happen a lot with people Revvy meets. Revvy looked back at Cedric uneasily and sighed again. He told Chomp to cry out if the Shinxes did anything, picked up Faith, and walked closer to Comet and Jared. Damn Cedric. Always had a way of making Revvy feel bad. "Hey, Comet, you know... I think we got off on the wrong foot. Or... possibly more than a foot. I just... "Now now..." the man said. "What would Deoxys say?" At that moment he removed his hood reveling his face. It was almost human but different. His eyes were cold and his ears where square, protruding out of his head much like Deoxys himself. His hair was red and dark circles formed around his eyes. "I know you follow Deoxys Rin, he's already told me about you." the man said. "It's your duty to perfect all life on this planet and it just so happens Eevee is key to that." the strange man explains. "Now please, give me your Eevee."

Growlithe once again barked back at Serperior with the same smile it wore since the grass snake found it. The little puppy then ran up to Comet herself and sniffed her leg. "Grow!" the Pokemon said happily. It seemed whatever Growlithe sensed about Comet it liked.

Vulpix on the other hand kept it's curious demeanor. As it looked around at the Growlithe barking it just rolled it's eyes and walked up to Jared. "Vulpix?" the fox said. It wasn't quite sure what to make of all this and was unsure if Jared or even Comet was to her liking.

When Cedric called out to Revvy it caught the attention of the Nidorino who ran in front of Nidoran♀. It was clear it didn't want Cedric to mess with it's little sister. The other Nidoran scattered a bit as they knew not to interfere once their brother got mad.

Meanwhile the Shinx Revvy was trying to catch, ignoring the looks her brother gave her, started walking toward Revvy with the older Shinx following suit. [i guess the Shinx is a girl? If you want it can be male since Luxray is rather masculine.]

Over at Silph. Co, Henry's Gengar had found Leon's Porygon2 and followed it back to it's master in the form of a shadow. "Ah, there are you Porygon." Leon said as the electronic duck returned to him and gave him a small smile. That's when the laughter started. Any light that remained in the room vanished and the trio all felt as if they were being watched. "Great..." Leon said to himself.
