How many bronies are there?

Its more then 3-4 Million. I think its more then that even in the USA. But I would be willing to except 3-4 in the US as the low side.

I point this all because...

 

Well I have worked / Lived in Japan/SKorea/China/Taiwan....

 

And you guys I'm just going to tell you... The total Number of Bronies in the World is most likely around 100 million.....

 

FIM is huge in Japan with High School kids.

 

In my Classes in China I had 300 Students most of them guys. And a good 10% where Bronies.

A good 15% of the University / HIgh School girls in China Seam to be Fans.

Now mind you that's in Cities and among more well to do student's but still that's a huge number.

 

But it is hard to tell over all.

For a few Reasons.

 

A lot of people wont admit it.

And.. Well a lot of people don't need to admit it.

-I'm a pretty big fan of the show and I know like... $20 In Merch... No Clothing, nothing like that. Its not because I wont tell anyone, its just that I don't own much Merch for ANYthing. Its just not what I spend my money on.

 

I knew a lot of guys in the Military who liked it. You would never know from just talking with them.

 

A lot of people don't where there fandom on there sleeves.

I think it is more then the few million most people think. But less then the 17 Million that some people say in the US. I might be willing to go with 2% as a general rule. Which would be about 6 million in the USA.

But as some one pointed out. that's more Bronies then Muslim-Americans.

Actually that's about as many Bronies as Jewish People in the USA.

There's probably about 5-10 million bronies in the world, I reckon. That being said:

 

Somewhere between 1 and 7,000,000,000. I'm 100% certain. 

 

Might be more than 7,000,000,000. There could be closet brony aliens, just sitting on Mars, like:

"Should we say hi to that rover over there?"

"Nah, it'll make fun of our cosplays."
