There've been many ill-tempered cartoon characters by that name, so it's really nothing too original. (It'd be especially inappropriate if your character is actually level-headed.) Anyway, some bomb-related names I can come up with off the top of my head are Shrapnel, Megaton, Shock Wave, Backfire...all of which are pretty meh, but just thowing them out there. As far as background I always picture him as dropping bombs from the sky (could be party bombs, love bombs, explosive bombs). I keep thinking Aerial Bombardment or Orbital Bombardment but not a big fan of those names.
