@,

Charcoal smiled up at Steve and pulled herself up using his hoof... or at least what she figured was his hoof. What are these things? They look like weird claws, but they aren't sharp or anything really. But they are soft, and warm. Charcoal thought to herself as she looked at her fingers, not really paying attention to what Steve said as he spoke to her.

After a few seconds of looking Charcoal let her ears tune back into what Steve was telling her. Something about this place having time that moved faster than Equestria. Which that was kind of hard for Charcoal to imagine. A day was 24 hours and nothing less. She found it hard to believe that either the sun was raised or lowered faster, same with the moon. She never will understand.

She was about to say something else, but Steve left before she could say anything. Then after all the banging and crashing and explosives she saw Steve emerge from one of the rooms smelling strongly of smoke. She covered her nose with a hoof and smiled at him. "Well now. Seems you are ready to attract some mares with how you smell." Charcoal said as she followed Steve to the door that she remembered that she had walked in through when she came to this world.

Steve stepped out of the portal, and imidiately tripped and fell on his face. He looked down at the ground near his foot, and saw Charcoal's bit bag. He teetered back on to his legs and knew he was back home. He was a pony again. He turned around as Charcoal passed through the portal behind him, and, using his magic, levitated her bit purse over to her. Here, I found this. Somehow it ended up in front of the portal. He took a few steps back, then, still looking at her, said, not to be rude, but I'm sorry, I really must be going. There are some errands I need to run. I'll see you around, right?" With that, he trotted off, out of his house, in in to the direction of the statue at the center of the town. He walksd and walked until he came in sight of the statue and two ponies standing in front of it. He slowed until he could get a better view of what was going on. "Well, hello there. What do we have here? What's going on?" It was at that moment he caught sight of Teya. "My my my. We've had a sprite living in the midst of this town the whole time, and no one knew?"

"Very well then." Teya began.

Turning away from the group she thrusted her palm outward. "Mynd saman vatn i a loft. Mynd felagi ao vernda" Teya chanted

The area infront of her glowed and the air turned icy leaving every being in the surrounding area's breath visible. Focusing all of her energy into the center of her palm a misty blue light began to emerge, slowly she brought her other hand up, as she did the light grew stronger and the air grew colder yet. The breeze took the bottoms of her dress and tossed it about. 'This won't do, Caisem wanted something stronger, right? He wanted something undestructable, and something that could not feel the pain of death. This wouldn't do! He needs a creature that will be able to help guid him on his journey. From what I gather this should be the best companion.' Teya decided.

"HAAAAAAA!" The tiny fairy bellowed as the wind picked up and the beam grew. It turned a bright blue, almost stinging her eyes. The beam grew wide forming a ball several times her own size. When at last the giant ob exploded it left a white light and a high pitched buzz.

Looking up Teya looked into the eyes of her newest creation. It was a mouse not much bigger than herself. Although this would appear to be no regular mouse, for its entire body would appear to be made of ice. Before turning back around to present Caisem with his new partner she noticed a set of eyes on her. She tilted her head and studied the curious pony for a moment. She imagined this would amuse her, if she cared enough to feel. Smirking she turned around.

"Here you are Caisem, you may set forth when you see it fit. This is your guardain." She finished hoping he would like it. The mouse squeeked and looked up at Caisemm It's coat of ice gleaming in the sun light.

Steve stared at her for a moment. "Well. That was..." He looked at the two other ponies standing there. Neither of them seemed to surprised at what she'd just done, or at least he one getting the shiny mouse things didn't. Steve stared at the mouse. "Is that ice? If you needed a harder substance, you could've asked me. I believe steel might have been a better choice...not to belittle the fact that you just made a living being out of ice...out of nothing." He rubbed his eyes, thinking the mouse thing might disappear. It didn't. "Right, that was exciting. Um. I had some gems for the statue. I assume that you are some kind of spirit or embodiment of the power of the statue? Either way, do you want-" He was cut off by a whooshing noise coming from up above. "Steve! There you are! I was looking all over for you!" Steve cringed, not knowing how the sprite would react to a dragon the size of a colt flying around. He hoped Ender knew better then to try to eat her. "So! What are you doing? Did you find whoever took care of the statue ye- What! Wow! What is that?" Ender yelled joyfully at the sight of Teya.

Teya fluttered her wings and slowly turned around. She met the blacksmiths curious stare.  Taking a second to note the comotion over head.  Slowly she looked him up and down she had seen him often, she watched over every being in this land, however it was evident that he had never seen her. It was a normal reaction, most didn't notice her due to size. "My name is Taya , I am an ice elemental, as well as the Oracle for Yata, not to belittle you or what you do for a living but it's not always about strength. It's about the details. Do you know it's purpose or where they are headed? Yes steel would be stronger but it would still be little use as a weapon in this form. Klaki won't melt as long as I am still breathing right?" SHe asked the mouse

The mouse scuttled about and squeeked in response. Once calmed down he sat next to Caisem.

Teya looked up to the dragon, it had been a long while since she had seen one of these. Flying up towards it Teya met it's eyes, "Hello." She said forcing a smile.

Looking back down to the Blacksmith she spoke, "If you have brought anything for Yata you may present it now." Her words came out plain and uncharasmatic.

"Dayum!" Itiri thought to herself. She left the two ponies angrily for two seconds, and she was already curious about what that weird little creature was summoning for that other stallion. Yet she stubbornly decided not to return to them and apologize.

She trotted around some more, trying to get to talk some other ponies a bit, but all of them seemed to be busy with one thing or another, and didn't have time to talk to her at all. But suddenly she noticed a small dragon flying over her head. Because she hailed from a far land, she rarely saw dragons like, especially not this small.

"Perfect opportunity to study their behavior" She thought to herself as she followed the dragon. It seemed to be heading to the statute, "Owh, seems like I'll have to go there again after all" And so she reluctantly kept following it out of curiosity.

A new charcoal black pony also seemed to be talking to the two she talked to before. Most of them where looking at some weird creature she could't recognize from afar, but it seemed to be reflecting light in quite an unusual way.

She carefully trotted towards them again.

@@Wayzer,@@PurplePony, @,

Throughout the whole excursion of Teya summoning the guardian, Caiesm held much less expression than the astonished onlookers; though, the final product seemed to please him. "Thank you, Oracle...Now I must be off," he grunted while carefully lifting the ice mouse onto his back among all his things. "I'll let you deal with your...usual inquiries. As I have stated, they bore me greatly."

Caiesm couldn't help but look to the dragon and remember the temple he once had to go to to retrieve one of the fragments. The wyrm were much different as they reached full adulthood. The seared fur on the bottom of his back hoof proved that. The small bags on his back clanged a little as he turned from the statue and Teya, sighed in frustration as he saw the same curious mare proceeding back to the statue; though, he turned his head and payed her no heed. Attempting to distract himself from the irritation, he began reassessing his supplies, noting to have brought his violin this time.

"I may return Teya...did she say anything about the land I was traveling too?" Caiesm asked the sprite once more as he turned slowly. Last time he went without understanding the environment he would travel, he ended up with poisonous thorns all over his hooves and hide.

Steve nods and walks up to the statue hesitantly. Turning back to Teya, he says "I brought a few exotic gems. They're litteraly impossible to find in this area. They are also some of the hardest substances around. I thought they might look good as well as help protect the statue." Ender circles around Teya happily. "Steve! She's a bipedal just like you! Only, she doesn't-" Steve quickly cuts Ender off, saying "Ender, why don't you show these nice ponies some of the things you can do. They all act like they've never seen a dragon recently." Ender smiles and nods, happy to be the center of attention. He starts flying around and around faster and faster, then does a few tricks in the air before closing his wings and diving straight down, flaring his wings at the last second and hitting the ground and kicking up a large cloud of dust. After it settles, he starts showing off his fire breath. Closes his mouth and eyes as a look of extreme concentration crosses his face. Then, accompanied by a small puff of smoke, a small gout of purple flame leaves his mouth, going a few feet over the ground before discipitating in to nothing.

Apple Spice laid there motionlessly as the vines grew tighter. "SCREEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!" a high pitched wave of sound exploded. A flutterbat flew out of nowhere. The vines shrunk back rapidly. "Zulilly!" Apple Spice whispered in delight. "You glad to see me?" "Screee." Zulilly purred and gently guided Apple Spice too safety. "I'll take that as a yes!" Apple Spice replied happily. Zulilly made a chirp sound and flew away then came back with some apples and a loaf of bread. "Did you steal from ponies again?" Apple Spice said grinning. Zulilly bowed her head slightly. "It's ok Zulilly I'm not mad at you." Apple Spice said playfully between bites. Zulilly made a buzzing noise and did a few tricks in the air. "I feel better now.  So I should get going... will you accompany me on my journey?" Apple Spice said more seriously. Zulilly immediately flew over and gave Apple Spice a big hug and purred. They walked for a few more hours. "Yata should be right ahead of us!" Apple Spice exclaimed. Zulilly flew in circles then stopped abruptly and flew into a tree. Apple Spiced looked up. It was a DRAGON! She had heard stories about them from Granny Smith. She followed the dragon excitedly then stopped as she saw a pony in a black cloak with weird writing on it and she seemed to be holding a staff. "Hello. Who are you?" Apple Spice asked.

Teya thanked the pony and carefully placed the offering atop the statue. The gems glowed with a radiant colour. They seemed to even emit and odd energy of sorts. The statue grew slightly warm to the touch.

Turning back to the pony, she stated, "Yata is pleased. She thanks you. Blessed be thy journey."

"Is there anything else that I can assist you with?" She finished wondering if they had really come all this way for that.

@Aerodynas

The mouse chipped cheerfully at Caisems feet urging him on. It began to scamper towards the South east exit of town. Occasionally he would squeak or look back to make sure the pony was following. Once they had gotten a fair distance from town he suddenly stopped to face the pony. "Teya says you are Caisem and I am to escort you. I am sorry I do not know the name of the destination, only the safest route and how to obtain the fragment you are seeking out. My name is Klaki." The mouse squeaked.

"Now I would appreciate if you kept up, we have a long journey ahead of us." He said as he quickly scuttled on.

Steve blinks. "That was...right. got it. Um, no, I guess that's it. I must say, its refreshing to finally meet another natural bipedal. Wish I'd met you sooner actually. First time here, well, walking on four legs took some getting used to. That's for sure. Magics nice though, couldn't do this stuff back when I WS human." Upon saying that, Steve covers his mouth with a hoof. He coughs then says, "right, oops. Well, I've said more then I meant. Um, if you're ever in need of anything craft able by metal, just stop by and let me know. I'll see what I can do for ya." Smiling, he turns around and starts walking towards his shop. He tinks of calling to Ender, then decides against it. He's having fun showing off and everyone seems to enjoy watching him. I'll let him have his fun. Steve makes his way back to his shop and opens the door. He sets it up so he's ready for business and then walks over to his forge. Adding some wood and other items, he reafies it for the rest of the day. He then, after his forge is hot enough, goes over to his smelter and sets about purifying some of the ore he'd gathered to make pure iron, or steel, or what ever metal he was purifying.

((@, omg totally didn't saw that one sorry))

@@PurplePony,

"How wonderful!" Itiri thought to herself. "Mister grumpy is leaving town with that mouse thing."  She was actually quite interested in how that mouse was summoned. She was an elemental mage after all, and summoning something made out of an element is something she wasn't able to accomplish yet.

Carefully she strotted towards the statute again. Waving to some of the new ponies who seem to have gathered there, including a young dragon. "Hellohello!" She shouted out to them. Another pony greeted her and asked who she was. "Well hello there, I'm Itiri, pleasure to meet you" She said smiling at the pony

Once she neared Teya she suddenly remembered something, and made a bit of an apologetic face. "Well ehm... it seems that it is a custom that ponies who visit this statute bring a present for it too right? I.. ehm.. am sorry I didn't. I did not know of that untill now, besides I don't know if I have anything useful to give. I can enchant objects but I can't even make the objects myself."

She fidgeted a bit around with her hooves: "So if you are the oracle, that means that the power of this statute is your power am I right? That must make you quite powerful..."

Apple Spice fretfully paced back and forth. "We were supposed to bring an offering?! What am I going to do?! WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?! I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO GIVE YATA! I am such a dumb pony of course you should have to give Yata an offering she is helping you after all!" Apple Spice yelled in her head. "I'll just have to figure out something." She muttered under her breath as she walked off into the main part of the town. Then Zulilly's head popped out of a bush and put a package by Apple Spice's feet. Apple Spice opened it and she saw her special supplies. "That's it!" She yelled in delight. "Oh! Sorry..." She said when she noticed ponies were staring  at her. She walked to a hidden place and spread out the supplies. "Let's get to work." She whispered. Zulilly sat down next to her intently watching with curiosity. After a while she was done. Apple Spice went back to the line where Itiri was still at the statue. "You can have your spot back." Said the pony that was behind her before. "Thanks!" Apple Spice replied. She started thinking about all that had happened on her way here when suddenly Zulilly flew out of nowhere and stood next to her with a "I'm not going to leave your side" look and let out a soft purr.

Caiesm's eyes looked out into the wasteland of a world outside the walls of the city, his whole demeanor changing with a flash of crimson in his eyes...The last fragment...at last...What those within those walls knew not was the fulfillment that would finally be found in its retrieval. Was there another meaning behind Caiesm's plight? The stallion of darkness looked back to the walls with hate in his eyes. 'Do this for me...and both our wishes shall be fulfilled...' his thoughts echoed to the sound of the heavenly voice before his own echoed in return. 'I swear unto you my abilities for this to be so...Yata...' So long he had risked his life for the retrieval of fragments when any other highwaypony would have hightailed and ran away. No...his revenge was worth the scars...worth the broken bones and the destruction of his own flesh...worth the lives that were lost to the horrors protecting them. They were all necessary however, filled with the promise of the end. There was indeed a reason these fragments were scattered and guarded by impossible obstacles.

Caiesm looked down to Klaki with a nod and an encouraging smile, his demeanor going back to normal. "Lead the way small Klaki. By the quickest route if possible without unnecessary confrontations," he answered readily before stretching his legs and his back. The stallion then stepped forward. "Worry not of me keeping up...I've traveled these lands for many years."

It was odd, the pony clear had not always been so, and yet he acted as if he had never seen a creature who walked on two feet. This clearly wasn't the case. Teya watched as he left in a hurry. Deciding to remeber what he had said incase it ever would become of use in the future. As of this moment however she did not care, it mattered not to her.

@Wayzer

Teya looked about her eyes finding the pony who had left not all that long ago, the odd black one who had taken off returned. She was a peculiar creature concerning herslef with so much. "Do not confused Yata's powers with my own. My own are my powers over water. I am a water elemental, we are quite common. every district has one to provide the rain. Your pegasus think they are so smart. True they can gather the clouds, but they are not the ones who allow the rain to fall. That duty falls upon us. Many of your kind do not know this because of your ignorance. You do not notice the small creatures and figure you are the only special ones out there." Teya scoffed bluntlly putting the order creatures naturally define themselves with. The powers Yata gives me can only be used if it is willed. Even those are not great, you see I am not the first or only to hold these powers. Powers lack something without motive. Without a strong will and motive it is merly just a flashy production. This is why Yata is so strong, you can not understand the motive, and even if you did... You would realize that Yata requires nothing and in the very end it would all work out the same. So you see turning away an offering will not happen, but Yata requires nothing of you." She finished perhaps a tad sharp.

~

@Aerodynas

Meanwhile Klakie looked up at his follower. And laughed. I would not slow down for you, I already know what your capable of. Or at least what Teya imagines you to be capable of.. Let us see if the mistress is correct." The mouse squeeked and took off into the brush quickly moving about.

Klaki wa sure of every movement, each step was as he could see it. His mind opened up to him as he scuttled off not checking once to see if he had lost the pony. It mattered not if he could keep up or not, "Mistress only needs me." He humphed, quickening his pace
