And I think I have seen at least 2 other ponies from the UK join today or maybe it was yesterday so you might want to go through the welcoming forum and find them. I had to laugh because I am very new at Forums and also had to ask how to add a friend among other questions that the experienced ponies take for granted. :-) Don't know if you got answers about getting your friends on board to what you like but my advice will always be start slowly. Mention you have seen the show and it really isn't bad and in fact it is kind of good. It's planting a seed. You will probably get teased but nothing drastic. Then depending on how they act, eventually challenge them to see a show- you know don't make fun until you've seen it sort of thing. In the end they might never like it as much as you do and they may never be bronies, but hopefully they will accept the fact that you are one. You joined the right place. It's a great group. I thought we were in a real minority around here xD With regards to bringing up the topic with your friends, I had the best success by dropping it in when they asked "So, what shows did you watch recently?", I wouldn't open with "omg i saw MLP today and it was awesome!", if your friends are anything like mine they might think you're a bit odd x) Anyway welcome to the forums (i'm still sorta new too), hope to see you around!
