Why do bronies hate cloppers?

OK, for this certain topic i'm talking about BRONIES, not just regular people.. I really don't give a shit about what they think. 

 

 

Why do you bronies hate cloppers? Being one myself, I don't see the hatred for us. It might annoy you with the r34 coming out, but why cloppers in general.

 

A brony at my school told me that I was "All thats wrong with the community" for clopping to Rarity. (Specifically to her because  I always joke around with him about it.)

i am not a clopper at all, never clopped in my life, but still, i do not have anything against clopper! one of my best friends here is one too! some persons are just not open minded enough.. i do not really care about what you do in your private time and what makes you in "the right mood", i don't see any problems at all personally

I don't see too much clopper hate, to be honest, and what I do see isn't anything to get worked up over. It's sorta laughable, actually

Now, people talking about it can get out of hand and annoying sometimes, but I just don't really understand why they would hate people when the community gets hated a lot too. Not the best way to put it, but you get what I mean.

Hmmmm.... good question! Why do they hate cloppers for what they do IN THEIR OWN PRIVATE TIME, IN THE PRIVACY OF THEIR OWN HOME! As long as it doesn't hurt anyone, you shouldn't be frowned upon for it. But strangely enough, I haven't recieved any threatening messages for enjoying R34 so far. Come to think of it, there isn't much hate directed towards cloppers on this website. Whenever there is, it's never taken seriously.

I guess because outsiders might assume that every brony is a clopper? I don't know, I always found it stupid to hate cloppers since what they do in their own time is up to them and them alone. Some people might find it disgusting that some enjoy...having fun...to cartoon horses but meh, I've heard of and seen worse things people enjoy getting off to. I know some of the best pony artwork I have seen has been clop, oddly enough.

I don't think there are actually too many bronies that really hate cloppers themselves... it's more of the effect that they have on the fandom in general.  I personally could care less what people do, but what frustrates me is the fact that it has a tendency to bleed into the fandom in general and detract from the generally family-friendly nature of the fandom.

 

Bronies are constantly being cast in a negative light because of the rule 34 side of the fandom which gets frustrating.  It's nothing against the cloppers themselves, it's just that it gets frustrating that every time bronies are put on the news or a talk show, they have to bring up the clopping.  Then the rest of the fandom has to defend it and try and explain that away and it gets tiring and irritating.
