Seeing Luna in a fedora fills me with a murderous rage.

Fedora's should be avoided like the plague. In most cases, you'll be looked at as autistic for wearing them, regardless of whether or not you are or not. If someone is a social outcast, there is a very good chance they have a fedora and probably wear it on a regular basis. Wear these head items at your own risk.

I'm normally not one to enforce PCness, but you just lost all credibility by using that as an insult.

It's a bad insult to use but he's correct. The common association with Fedora's is 'autistic overweight brony'. It's stupid that people associate a hat with a medical condition but he's still sort of right.

Which is stupid in and of itself to judge someone based on appearance.

Again, Linkara.

Yeah, I'd rather not.  There's that connotation with the hat that we all know, first off.  And my friends would beat my ass if I wore one.  Plus, I don't even like the hat.  So, yeah.

Fedoras take a certain look to pull off well. You can't go around walking in one while wearing a T-shirt. It needs that right "look". And please don't wear trilby's. They look stupid. Like a hat that isn't sure if it wants to be a cap or a fedora.

Also, I'll demonstrate the "look" thing. I prefer to wear my olive green canvas fedora with my olive green canvas jacket. Without the jacket, my fedora just looks gaudy and stupid.

You guys some people wear fedoras or treble not because of its design, but because a lot of people like putting there likes and dislikes and overall personality in the form of buttons (kind of like a sign)

Also I kind of thought about it and said "what if someone wears it to be silly, goofy, different, ect but not in a bad way" I know that sounds confusing but hear me out. People dress the way they dress to show who they are and what they want from people so I think some people actually want to show they are silly, different, goofy to attract other silly, goofy, different people.

Are there people that have no idea that they dont look good with a fedora on and think there edgy/classy with it on, yes!
but there are some people out there that look goofy with a fedora on for the reason that they actually want to look goofy with it on and they dont care. Thats what I think why some people do it.

They're not really my style, but I think they can look good on some people with a matching suit.

I've always found the "fedora with a T-shirt and jeans" look to be incredibly goofy-looking.

I like that hat your wearing a lot but I honestly try to wear it and no matter how I dress I cant make it look good or at the least right on me. I wish I can make it look right on me!

That's the secret.

No one really looks good with fedoras.

To actually 'look good' with one, you have to be attractive; this gives the illusion that you look good, but honestly, people just focus more on the face rather than the awful hat.

to be honest, I wore mine way before I got into the show...it was my Granddad's...and it's one of my favourite hats I own. I don't understand why they have such a bad rep...but y'know what? I don't wanna know...my fedora is special to me, it reminds me of my Granddad...and I don't see anything wrong with that.

Their reputation is due to their misusage; if used with proper attire, fedoras are acceptable. If used with a pony shirt and casual clothes, you're only the people 4chan's /mlp/ board berate.

Fedora's, trillby's, whatever the hell you want to name it so you feel better are just awful.

They don't look good with any outfit. They look ridiculous and they literally allow me to spot people I want nothing to do with from a distance. Stop wearing them, stop thinking you look cool or slick or like a prohibition mafia gangster because you don't. (Pointing out I'm using the term 'you' in a general sense and this is in no way directed at any specific member before I get into trouble again.)

The only acceptable hat is a derby/flat cap. Even then, if you're gonna wear this then wear it with a proper tweed or corduroy sports jacket, not a "omg fluttershy pony fedora in socks" t-shirt -_-

Endrant, oh and shave that neckbeard too. :D

God damn thank you so much, somebody finally said it.

Fedora's are terrible, they have honestly in my opinion never been good.

I think I should have rephrased that xD, I mean fedora's are horrible on normal people, I think Indiana Jones is literally the only person who can actually wear a fedora, but like some random guy wearing a blue tshirt would look horrible in it

It's awesome btw....

as for the real hats, it's a dapper piece of awesome, right up there with the 10 gallon Lincoln-esc hat.
