I think comprehension of the third dimension is the best thing since sliced bread.

I think 3D Television systems and movie technologies are a gimmick that will fade with time, that only exist to generate a little more profit at the theatre turnout.

I think 3D Computer Graphics are an excellent medium that is still being explored and indeed should be explored, because even as far as it's been developed in the past 30 years, its still in its infancy in terms of capabilities.

I think 3D shots in MLP:FiM have been very cleverly implemented, like so many other nichely details of their animation that takes the otherwise "average" standard practice of Production Animation into a pretty witty representation of Flash capabilities. That said, I do not think MLP animation is "awesome", simply "above average in some ways".
