idunnomaybe 344 July 28, 2016 Share July 28, 2016 (edited) That when i fail i don't take it so hard on myself. like i take it REALLY hard, i have a weird need to be perfect in everything i attempt. Actually the most dramatic case was during School of infantry towards the end you participate in the "top shot" competition and you you score is taken from a variety of different weapons any way when it came to the smaller Machine Gun i forgot i had the un-sighted barrel still on it and i didn't adjust my aim on it for the first two serials (the serial its self was a really hard one moving targets 400 meters you had to sprint 100 meters between mounds etc etc) and as a result i lost pointswhen the competition thinned out and it came down to just me and some one else we did the last serial which was a grouping at 400 meters and at the end i was listening to the total scores... and when they said the scores every one exploded with joy and excitement because me and the other guy had almost managed to set a new score in the entire history of the school so every one was happy except for me.... i got 5 points less than the other guyi locked my self in my room and just get really depressed for the next three days i didn't care how impressive my scores were some one else beat me...
