Yosuke just grinned. "Yeah they are, but you get used to it. Trust me on this. I've had to live with him!" Yosuke laughed,

 

"Don't say that like it's a bad thing!" Teddy said. He waved his arms about then crossed them and pouted.

 

"Oh come on bear. Y'know I didn't mean it. Or did I?" Yosuke said with a smirk.

 

Sekel facepalmed. "Why do I get the feeling this 'Investigation Team' isn't a normal investigation team?" Sekel asked.

Mariku looked at Sekel. "Well, there is a TV world,  Personas, A bear with bad bear puns, and is there anything else you want me to add" Mariku said as he then looked at Youske. "Apparently this sound COMPLETELY NORMAL" He said before looking at Sekel. "Don't you think so"

"You are absolutely right Mariku. Now, what do you say we watch the Midnight Channel tonight and see if Marie appears on it again?" Yosuke asked the group happily.

 

"You actually want Marie to be on there?" Sekel asked increduously. He turned to Mariku. "I think this isn't investigation team because of those exact reasons." Sekel said to Mariku.

"Okay Paranormal Investigation team happy now Sekel" Mariku said sounding annoyed. "Yes I will be watching the Midnight Channel tonight a-" He stopped when he heard his phone go off. "Hold on. Hello...yeah I met him, yes her too though I didn't see you there...alright bye" He closed his phone. "Can't believe she was right" he said to himself

 

 

 

((Pay no mind to who he was talking to on the phone, the person is from Persona 3 not 4 but she is in Persona 4 Arena))

Sekel smirked. "You don't get sarcasm do you?" Sekel asked.

 

Yosuke laughed as he realised what just happened. "I fell for it too." Yosuke said as he wiped a tear out of his eye.

 

"You're an idiot." Teddy simply said. He was still pouty after the bad bear puns comment.

"I was being sarcastic also...dumbass" Mariku said slightly annoyed. "Just to mention, do not piss me off, last one who did that...well Naoto can say that because it was in clas"

 

 

"He got detention for a month, all because a student wouldn't stop talking to him" Naoto said. "That a bit overboard dont you think" Chie asked.

 

"It was his fault he wouldn't shut up" Mariku answered

"He got detention for a month!? That's nothing compared to spending a whole day in jail. Remember that day Yu? I was waving around a couple of swords and then Dojima came and arrested me. Come to think of it, does Dojima still have the swords?" Yosuke asked Yu.

"Well, they're probably somewhere in the police station. " He explained. "It's not as though detectives get to just take home confiscated items." he said, smiling lightly as he remembered the event. He still couldn't believe Yosuke had waved around a bunch of, what appeared to be, real swords in public... where her worked, no less. 

 

Kanji paused a moment. "Hey, wait a minute..." he said, looking around at the others. "If we're gonna have these guys join the investigation team... well, I mean, they don't have personas. So aren't we gonna have to go into the TV world with them, have them face thier shadow, beat the crap out of thier shadow, and then have them accept it if we wanna have them do anything? I mean, i`m not sayin' we shouldn't do it. I`m just saying.... do we really wanna submit people to that sort of thing?"

"I wouldn't mind besides, I would love to fight against myself" Mariku said before looking at Youske. "Why would you be so half witted to do something like that anyways" he asked. "I have real weapons but I don't wave them around in public so I could get sent to jail" He said

Chie heard Mariku actually wanting to fight his own shadow, which is a bad thing. Fighting shadow might sound fun from Mariku's tone, but Chie knows better. Fighting shadow is probably the last thing Chie wanted to do. She still remembers the event unfolds several years ago. She remembered how her true self distorts her emotions. Her true self told her that she was nothing without Yukiko, her best friend. Thankfully Yu and Yosuke snapped her out from the discord in her heart and she was able to face her true self by their supports. 

 

Unconsciously, Chie was spacing out from her group. Thankfully she snapped before anyone asked her something. "Actually Mariku, what would happen would be the otherwise. You DON'T wanna fight your shadow, especially when your friends' with you." Chie told Mariku.

"So we don't want to fight our shadows? Then how will we figure out our true selves and get our personas?" Sekel asked her.

 

"Fighting shadows is difficult. Just try not to get yourself killed." Yosuke said.

 

"Well that's encouraging." Sekel said sarcastically.

"Whatever I know it'll just spout lies about how I feel  and all that so it will be no problem at all" He said before hearing his stomach growl. "Heh I need to get something to eat" He said to himself. "Besides whats the worse it could say" Mariku asked as he looked at the sky

"It will say everything you doubt about yourself. It will try to convince you that it is better than you. When taht ails and you say you that the shadow isn't you, then it will become much more powerful and try to kill you." Yosuke said seriously. He wanted Mariku to know what he would face if he ever found his shadow. "This goes for you too." Yosuke told the other boy.

 

Sekel just looked at the ground and thought about what he's gotten into.

"Well it'll take a lot to get through me and besides since you guys told me I will accept it, easy as that" He said. "My father told me to accept who I am even if it's not true" He said as he went into his pocket. "Besides I had a pocket knife with me so I could have fought what was in the tv world"

"Chie's right. You shouldn't take faceing your shadow lightly..." He said with a sigh. "Everyone has something about themselves they don't like... some deep part of themselves they hate, and refuse to accept it as a part of them." He shook his head at Mariku. " It won't spout lies. That's the scary part. It`ll tell nothing but the truth about you, in the purist form...even knowing that you should accept it,it can be difficult to do so..." he said with a sigh, remembering each of his friends going through that... the only reason he didn't have to was because he had his persona unlocked differently. He noticed the boy, Sekel, looking at the ground. "Hey." he said, refering to the boy. "None of us will think any less of you if you don't want to go in there." He didn't want to force either of them to do anything.

"So it'll know my worst secret then" he said sounding sad. "I don't care alright...if it will know everything about me and tell me all my secrets and everything...." Mariku looked at the floor. "I'm heading home" He said as he started to leave. "If that happens then they can't know....I killed someone" He said to himself

Yosuke gritted his teeth and slammed his fist against the table, causing Teddy and Sekel to jump. "I hated doing that but we had to tell him. It would be better he found out now then when he's in the TV World." Yosuke said quietly.

 

"Sensei? Is everything alright?" Teddy asked Yu.

 

Sekel looked at his watch and realised he had to get home. "I'd love to chat with you more but I've got to get home." He gave them a wave before heading home.

 

"Did you call this morning Yu? Teddy told me you called." Yosuke said. He seemed to have calmed down from his outburst.

"You're right, Yosuke. Better than them getting surprised by it when their shadows show up in the TV world..." he muttered. When Teddy asked his question, he just looked over at him. "Huh? Yeah, i`m fine Teddy. Just thinking about this... I mean, I knew entrance to the TV world was still possible after we solved the case last time... but I guess I just figured it wouldn't go back to how it was..." he sighed. "I looked for Marie earlier today... couldn't find her anywhere. She shouldn't be in the TV world already... but if we can't find her, there isn't much to be done..." he muttered. He watched the boy go, nodding and waving goodbye, just in time to hear Yosuke's question. "Yeah, I did. I wanted to make sure everyone got called... but all I got was a dial tone. What happened?"

 

Kanji stood there looking everything over... well, they way that kid ran off... he had a feeling that whatever he was hiding from himself must've been preety bad... "Wonder if it's bad enough to make 'em not wanna face his shadow..." He muttered. When he heard Yosuke curse, he nodded. "Yeah... probrably the best way... I mean, better than waking up in a bathhouse to find a half naked version of yourself standing there talkin' to ya."

 

Yu smirked at the memory, before turning over to Chie. "Hey, Chie... nice to see you again. Sorry I couldn't be here under better circumstances..." he muttered, rubbing the back of his head. "How've you been? Been awhile since we've had a chance to catch up..." with his making plans to move to Inaba, while also trying to keep it a secret from his friends, he'd neglected calling them much in the past few months.

"Chie hasn't said much at all. She must be deaf or something." Yosuke smirked.

 

"Don't talk that way about Chie!" Teddy shouted.

 

"Why not? Ooh do you like her?" Yosuke laughed.

 

"About the dial tone Yu, After Teddy and I saw the Midnight Channel last night, I made the calls, like you told me to, and after I called Kanji, I got fed up and chucked it at the wall. That may have been a bad idea in retrospect because it broke into lots of little pieces." Yosuke explained his phone situation to Yu.

"Yosuke, you seem to forget, Teddy likes all of the ladies." he said with a smirk, remembering Teddy's antics of flirting with just about every female in vicinity. At the mention of the phone, Yu sighed, kneading his forehead. "Really, Yosuke, did you think at all? Have fun explaining that to your folks." He paused abit, suddenly getting an idea... he was still looking for a place to stay in Inaba, once he moved there he would be staying with Dojima, but he wanted to find a place to live permenatly. "Speaking of your family, now that you've graduated,do you plan on moving out Yosuke? I mean, is there even a place you could afford around here? Don't remember any apartments..." such a small town didn't typically have a place like that. 'Anyway, about you phone... well, atleast one good thing about the TV world... the shadows carry quite abit of yen. Can probrably just use that to get you a new phone..."

He stopped when he heard something He kept on going. "You want to know why I am upset" Because I killed someone before...so if I hear the shadow say that I. WON'T. CARE...I already been in jail and they let me out alright...that's why I am ready fro this damn shadow...I have been to hell and back I know what the hell is wrong with me" He said to him self

Chie kept recalled the memories of the day she had face the truth years ago, as if she felt that she will face her shadow again in the near future, but then Yosuke spoke something about Teddie might be having a crush on her and in a snap, Chie does a Galactic Punt  on Yosuke, which flew his several meters away from the table. Thankfully there was nobody there at that time.

 

She shooks her head and realized both the newcomers are gone, probably going home. "Oh, Er... Sorry about that, Yosuke." Chie apologized. 

 

Chie saw that Yu had spoke to her couple moments agao, while she was spacing out. "Sorry Yu, this Midnight Channel thing has been bothering me since last night. Thankfully I heard your question. I'm actually doing great here. I managed to graduate and I've been practicing my Kung Fu and Karate, so my kicks has improved a lot." Chie said.

"Y...Yeah, I can see that..." He muttered, looking at the sprawled out form of Yosuke laying just outside of the food court area now. Kanji walked over towards Yosuke, bending over him. "Damn. I think I can see her shoe-print on his face!" He said, offering a hand to help Yosuke up on his feet. Yu looked Chie over a moment. She was taller than she he remembered, and her body seemed as toned as ever from exercise, but he couldn't believe how much power were in those legs... "i`m glad you've been doing well. It's good to hear you've kept up the training... reminds me me of when me and you use to do those training exersises by the river." He said, reminiscing a little. "Any plans now that you've graduated? I mean, you use to talk about being a cop. That still on the agenda?" He asked curiously, remembering his old friends desire.

"Why?" Yosuke whimpered. He coughed and took Kanji's offered hand. "See nothing. I think I can actually feel the ridges of her sole." Yosuke complained, feeling his face. "I think you actually threw my back out with that kick." Yosuke continued to complain and grumble as he hobbled back to the table. "That kick was a lot more powerful then from a few years ago." He wisely stepped away from Chie before saying, "You remember that night on the school camping trip?" Yosuke didn't need to say anymore when he realised Kanji was right behind him.

 

"Oh Chie. You're still as beautiful as ever." Teddy said lovingly. "What school camping trip?" Teddy asked. He wasn't there when the trip happened.

Yu asked Chie on her future plans. She had told Yu about her dream to become a cop. "Yeah, well I'm trying to become one, but up to now, my application has yet to be approved. Seems the police station is busy these days."

 

Then suddenly Yosuke came, with a print of her shoe, which Chie found funny, as usual. Then out of nowhere, Yosuke speaks up about the school camping trip years ago, an event after the Seekers of the Truth saved Kanji. That night, Kanji's ass was kicked by Chie and both Chie and Yukiko moved to the boys's tent, leaving Kanji behind with Ohtani. 

 

"Oh I still remember that. Kanji passed out. Although what I remembered the most was when you boys were swimming while King Moron was puking on the upstream and the day when we cooked the curry on day one of the trip."
