movies/tv Why does Superman suck in DCAU?

I have been watching Justice League and Unlimited on Netflix and in the first 6 episodes Superman is more like a man with big muscle mass. I mean you see him get electric shocked in every episode and he is always on the floor whaling and crying like a baby. I know they need to give other JL heroes a time to shine. But you can't make Superman that weak.

Because they wanted to make him less OP in the cartoons.

It wouldn't be fair if the cartoons had Mr. Perfect from the comics.
