Peace's eyes light up, "I would love a romantic night out, my love" she says hugging Aaron tightly, "I love you darling, forever and a day"

Violet looks at Kaz hugging Aaron, she smiles at Icarus, "well it looks like they've sorted it out, but what shall we do? I'm more than happy to stay here with you, but if you want to go out too.."

Aaron gives her a smile. "okay hun. Wait at the door. I'm gonna make myself presentable." Aaron walked off to the shed in the back, to cover his metallic parts. A month ago, he had perfected the best camo for himself. Thanks to Kaz, he was able to acquire all he needed to make a chemical he nicknamed "The Flesh", a concoction he made that gave his entire body the illusion of skin. It felt like the real deal and it brought the staring down significantly. Now they think he's a sentient, bald, ape. But, it worked. A few minutes later, Aaron was now presentable, wearing a white shirt, jeans, and a fedora. "Now, where shall the beautiful maiden like to eat? I've been saving for a night like this, so bits are of no object. Just don't order everything on the menu.

Peace smiles, "well hello there handsome" she says playfully with a kiss on his cheek, "where shall we go?  Oh, I know! I saw a rather nice restaurant over by the sheriff's office, maybe we could go there, see what it is like." she takes his arm and smiles at him. "I love you"

Icarus playfully prodded Violets stomach with a smile.

 

"I would say we go and eat, but it looks like you need to cut down" He teased, before looking around.

 

"We could try the saloon, it looks like it is open,  Or we could head back to the cherry orchard and make some cherry  pie" Icarus suggested.

Violet glared at Icarus, sure what he said was a joke, but it was a bad one. "Cherry Pie sounds nice right about now. Lets go" she says, gently shoving him. "come on then, I'm starving!" She says getting up, but seeming to have some slight trouble, "um love? little help please"

Aaron embraced his lover and holds her tight. "I love you too, beautiful." They walked out to the town, now dark with little to no ponies in sight. "I'm up for anything to eat. Tonight is about you and you alone. I am at your service and will take you to wherever your heart desires. So, where would the lovely maiden fancy this evening?" Aaron kissed her hand like a gentleman, trying his best to make her forget her troubles. He did not care if he would get lucky tonight, he just wanted to see her happy.

Peace Blossom blushed, "I mentioned that restaurant near the sheriff's office. Let's go see if that is still open" she says, kissing him back, "Oh Aaron, I..I'm so lucky to have you in my life, no, not in, but a part. You are my fiance, I love you with all my heart" She says, leading the way to the restaurant, with a smile on her face.

"Then so be it." Aaron escorted his fiancée to the small restaurant for their dinner. He heard her say how lucky she was to have him. "Well, I'm just lucky to have someone. The fact that it was you is the damn jackpot." The waitress took them to a booth as they both sat down. Aaron say her pregnant belly and gave her a soft smile. "So, have you thought of a name yet?"

Peace blushes and smiles at what she thought was a compliment, "Thanks my love, and yes, I was thinking, if it's a filly, how about Serenity? and if it's a colt, who will be just as kind, caring and handsome as his daddy, I was thinking of um.. Aaron Jr?" she suggests, still blushing and picking up her menu, "hmm oh this pasta sounds delicious"

Aaron raised an eyebrow and gave a chuckle. "That may get a bit confusing, how about this. If its a filly, you can name her. If its a colt, I will okay sweetie." Aaron picked up the menu and in a flash had made his selection. He thought his wife looked absolutely amazing in the candle light. "So, how have you been, beautiful. We never get to talk anymore, so tell me what's been going on with you."

Peace sighs, "I..I've been fine I guess. Bored out of my skull and I have been all kinds of cravings." She places a hoof on her belly, then smiles at Aaron, "and sounds good, I'm sorry we haven't been able to talk much, stupid Gryphons. They know just how to ruin things." She leans over to her handsome lover and kisses him. "Aaron, I.." She kisses him again, "I..I will never leave you"

"I know you wont. That's a reason why I love you so much. Loyal to the end. And I know its hard right now, and our sex life has taken a drop." Aaron kind of blushed at that part. "But, I think I can help with the bored. After all, that why I took you out for dinner. I wanted to spend some time with you. Since Icarus and I have been working so much, I thought you'd want to do something. I've been saving my bits so go wild. Anything you want to do, is on me." The waitress came and took their orders, leaving them glasses of water to drink. "Is there anything you want to do tonight after dinner?"

Peace giggled at the sex part and how Aaron blushed when saying it, "Well being pregnant does put a damper on things, but what I would love to do, is go on a late night stroll, with you, just you. But if there's a festival on or there's a range around here, I'd love to go there too. Let's just wing it" She smiles at him, "Did we get any more information on what the gryphons really want?"

Aaron looked around to make sure that nopony was listening in on them. "I have, and things aren't going so well. They found another one of our camps in the everfree. A small one, but still." Aaron began to banish the thoughts. "But, enough about that. As for a festival, there is one in a few days. I would love to take a beautiful mare to it if she would agree to go with me."

Peace smiled, "Oh hush dear, you know I don't think myself as beautiful, but of course I'll go with you." she thinks "I just hope this damned war ends before our foal and Violet and Icarus' foal are born, I'd hate for their first sight to be one of our beautiful world being at war, with all these darkness"

Aaron nodded in agreement. "I don't know Peace. I just want him or her to be born without any issues. I can protect the six of us if the need should arise. Plus Icarus is fully capable of protecting Violet and her foal. And you are indeed beautiful. I've been telling you for months now and yet you still deny it. I don't know if you're humble or in denial of your own beauty." He slides closer to his love. "But I don't care, because you are mine. A beautiful face, a child on the way, great to be around," He leaned in close to her to whisper. "And one firm flank if I do say so." he kisses her cheek. "Which ever way you cut it, we're lucky to have each other. And I wouldn't trade it for anything."

Peace blushes, "I..." she leans in and rests her head on his shoulder, "Thank you love, I know, I just, I just love you so much, and well no stallion has ever paid any attention to me, unless it was for work, so I just assumed that I wasn't beautiful enough or beautiful at all." She kisses him, "this place is lovely, it's nice to see how a small community can still work together wit all this chaos going on"

The waitress sets their food on the table, leaving the couple to their business. "Well, they were idiots to let a fine specimen like you go. So, lets eat our food and we can go for a nice night time walk." he nips her ear playfully. "For this is your night, and I want to make you feel just as beautiful on the inside as on the outside."

Peace smiles, "Whenever you're around, my love. I always feel beautiful. Pretty hard not to, when you keep reminding me of it." She kisses him and begins to eat her meal, "mmm and the food is delectable. Don't forget to leave a tip when we leave" She then takes a sip of cider. There was a note, it was from the general, "Oh look, a note"

Icarus took  Violets hand and happily walked to the orchard with her. He rubbed a hand on her belly and smiled.

 

"You know dear, I will make sure that our child has a great future" he says nuzzling her happily and giving her a kiss on the cheek as they continued.

Aaron saw the note and began to read, his smile fading as he read on. It read as such. 'As of now, all member of the force against Gryphonian rule, must evacuate the following provinces. Fillydelphia, Appleoosa, and Ponyville. Soldiers are being sent to said areas and all fighters must evacuate.' Aaron leaned back in his seat and gave a sigh. "Looks lie we're moving again. Still, three months isn't that bad. And we got a ton of bits to travel the whole country if my calculations are correct."
