Will the CMC voice actors be replaced?

I would prefer it not they may grow larger or maybe get a cutiemark but otherewise I am not happy with a new voice actress...

I honestly think they shouldn't replace the voice actors of the CMC. They have to age someday, right? Who knows maybe in the next season the CMC might be older and get their cutie marks! They can't stay as foals forever! Logic man. Logic.

Well Madeleine Peters is 17... her voice is long changed, so she's not going to be replaced unless she quits.  Michelle and Claire are both 14, and I'm pretty sure Michelle's voice has done most of its changing.  It's still a little high, but I think that's just how her voice sounds.  Claire sounds like she is going through some voice changing right now from her recent episodes, but honestly I don't see any reason why they would replace her.  First of all, if you're replacing her because the voice isn't going to sound the same anymore, well that's not going to happen.  First of all, changing actresses because the actress sounds slightly different is like blowing your brains out because you have a headache.  If the concern is the voice sounding different, why would they put a completely different sounding voice on the show?  And MLP's voice actors have way too much attention on them to switch them out like other shows can.  It's not like a cartoon where few people even know the names of the VA's...  Plus the show isn't a frozen in time type show.  Sure if this was something where years go by without anybody aging at all, it would be one thing.  But this is a show with continuity... we've already seen from Twilight changing into a princess that the show is progressing in time and so it makes sense to have characters do some aging and allow the CMC's voices to change in the show just as they would in real life.

 

And frankly, even though some people were making comments about Claire's voice sounding different, I think bronies just get way too obsessed about things... there wasn't that much of a difference... it could just have easily been a slight cold on the day they were recording the episode... I think people just need to calm down and let things progress.

I like their VAs too much to think that they'll change them in the next several years! But, it is likely that they will replace them-- unless the do age them, like the others said. That would keep things interesting, and we'll get to see the CMC actually phsyically age and learn new lessons as they do so!

I don't think so, they sure do sound different, but I don't think it's so different you don't recognize their voices.

The characters are getting older, and showing more maturity. Why would they change they're voice actors for doing the same?.....

I don't think so, this is a sign that the CMC and the actresses playing them are growing up together so the writers should let the CMC mature and age the trio as the show continues on.

 

I would say keep the original voice actresses; nobody could match the charm that Michelle, Maddie and Clare put upon those 3 adorable fillies in spite of their misadventures. Adding in new actresses to portray them would kill the CMC stories and make them bland, boring and unorthodox and the stories with the new voice actresses just won't feel the same.

Since we're supposed to have multiple seasons after 4, surely they should make the characters grow with the CMCs, Rather than vice versa?
