Dart, here, told me that kids were making fun of me and my heart attack as well as my split personalities." Minx said as she glumly looked into her bowl of fruit. Dart was just looking out the window. She then leaned over to Whisper and whispered to her. "Sorry about running out on you in the shower." She then returned to looking glumly at her bowl. Rumors were quick to spread and true she had heard even a few of her own. Some girls thought Minx was making it all up just to be different. Others thought she might be crazy; but they were all just wild stories. Whisper had to suffer through her own rumours and looks now so she felt sorry for her friend. "Oh, and don't worry. "Don't worry about rumors," She said, "we all have to deal with them at some point, third of the school thinks me and Ben are dating well the rest think we're siblings or dating siblings." She made a grossed out face, before going on, "But as teenagers I find it best to live by one philosophy; I'm awesome, and everybody else is stupid. Sure it's self-centered, but it's also a survival instinct. Screw the haters, if they want to spread rumors like prissy little children than let them. They suck." She began pointing around the room at random kids, "that person sucks, and that person sucks, and him and her and him and her." She pointed at herself last. "I personalty don't care about anyone's opinions, not in high school at least. It's just a place where they dump kids and brainwash them to serve society. "I tried to tell her that but she wouldn't believe me. Anyway, I'm going to go ... somewhere. See you later sheilas." He waved bye and walked out of the cafeteria. "Glad he's gone. Ben asked the strange boy as he sat on a nearby cot. He was annoyed with Katie for leaving him with the same maniac that had socked him in the eye before, but if what Katie had said was true, then i was better that he was here. "Unlimited power?" He purred, "That certainly sounds interesting. What is it connected to? Do you have any idea?" He said it almost dangerously, coming off as someone interested in information. "Is Katie in on it with you?" @, Katie studied Minx, "You do realize what we do on a weekly basis right? If we're not connected, if we don't know each other, the world could hang in the balance. People could loose their lives. It's not JUST a party, it's a team meeting. People who want out can get out. We can make a plan. It's our turn now." "We went into Lyoko, we have to remember every bad thing that has happened well the rest of the world forgets. If we tell adults, they will shut things down, use Lyoko and Xana for their own purposes. We all have to get together to night and agree on what to do, where to go." She sighed, "Maybe I'm taking this too far, but remember after the first return to the past when I started walking to the factory, you were both there, everybody was, and I said 'if you want to leave now you can' and everybody stayed? That's why it has to be us, because we stayed." She looked over her friends, wondering if she sounded incredibly self-centered or incredibly sappy. The thought of being alone on this scared her worse than Xana ever could, they had to be connected.@,@@RunsWithSquirlz, Ben rubbed his temples, was he really doomed to live life as a video game now? "Huh, well why is Katie part of this?" He prodded, "Does she know any of this? I brought him to the inferiority, bandaged his leg and questioned him, what was he doing here, what did he want, all that stuff. He was perfectly kind, if not a bit annoying. He didn't answer many questions, but he repeatedly said he was running from the cops. Then he turned on me and asked me questions, I played dumb when he said something about Jeremy and Aelita. I figured that since he wouldn't talk to me, he might talk to Ben. See, Ben knows something is up with us, and will probably figure Shadows in on it and ask the kid questions. All I have to do is question Ben, and bam I have my information." She said it with a shy victorious tone. "I honestly don't think Shadow will hurt Ben. Ben knows nothing, and by now I'm sure Shadow knows that too. I needed to stick someone with Shadow to be sue that he wouldn't follow us to the party." She shifted again, super nervous, "They are in the inferiority, what do you purpose we do about it? He obviously wasn't in cahoots with Katie, maybe an enemy? Possibly, but then, he realized what Katie had put him here for, information. Sneaky thing to do, but like her. He played dumb, "Well Katie seems to know you." He shrugged, "I figured she had something to do with this. But go on, who is this Codely? When did he go missing?" @, Katie beamed, "Genesis you're brilliant! But there's one problem, Shadow doesn't go to this school. Only students can get detention right? He would have to do something really bad, especially to get same day Saturday detention. Anybody have a plan?" Katie was good at getting out of detention, getting into it was another concept completely.
