Videotaping/Live Streaming of Events?

I see that Ponyville Live is a video partner. What exactly does "video partner" mean? Are any of the events going to be recorded (and published later or live-streamed? Since I'm driving to the event from northern CA, I might not make it on time for the opening ceremony and probably won't be able to stay late enough to watch NEIGHhem. I would like to be able to watch the events later, but I'm not sure that this is an option yet.

They've said that some of the events and panels will be recorded and live-streamed, and others will not.  I don't think they've said which ones will be recorded, but my guess from watching streams of other cons is that the NEIGHhem concert won't be recorded since I've only seen them record the concerts one or two other times.  I'm not sure about the opening ceremony.
