Ditzy took her advice and fell asleep as the gondola traveled along the line. 45 minutes passed as the group slept and without warning it slowed down and with a slight jut. Trixie and Aaron were brought out of their sleep. Aaron was rubbing his head. "Ugh, Trixie needs to pay more attention to the line." She and Aaron got up as Ditzy was stunned by the sight of a large arch made from the brambles and plants of the infamous Everfree forest.

@@Mr. Critical,

Stahl stood up from were he had been sleeping, and looked around. He bent down and grabbed his helmet, and placed on his head comfortable, before grabbing the straps and attaching them together. He shook thee helmet a bit to be sure it was secure, then extended a hand down to Ditzy to help her up.

Ditzy took his hand and smiled at his chivalry. "Thank you, Stahl." Ditzy was at he feet and stretched her muscles. Trixie and Aaron were examining the archway of brambles. "So, you seem smart. What do you make of this?" She handed him a fallen piece of the plants and began to examine the plant. It was odd and had green insides. It was not like anything he had seen. He gave a shrug and dropped the bramble to the ground. Trixie was looking at the plants. "Trixie remembers the forest, but not like this. ITs... different somehow."

Ditzy liked this creature. He was nice to her and was willing to help her in her darkest hour. Ditzy liked his smile, but she had to focus on what was going on. "So, this is what happened to the Everfree, huh." She got out of the gondola. She saw the brambles and it brought back memories of when things were good and this place was the biggest source of fear for ponies. "Alright. Lets get moving, Trixie wants to get this over with."

Ditzy was no fighter, but she held the knife close. "Very well then. Let us venture forth." Trixie went into the arches, stopping at the entrance. A bit of sweat fell down her face. Aaron walked up next to her and gave a nod. Ditzy stepped next to Stahl, keeping close to him. "Lets go." She gave him a smile.

The group was making their way down the road. The only source of light was Trixie's magic glow from the sphere. At least the rain was gone. The only wound were their foot-steps. Ditzy was terrified. She didn't like being here. It was unnatural before but this place was just unpleasant to be around. She stayed close to Stahl, shivering of cold and fear. Trixie was doing a better job of hiding her fear than she was. She was afraid as well, but she had been hiding her true feelings for years. She turned to Stahl and Ditzy, speaking in a whispered tone. "We have to be quiet here. I don't know what lurks here, but if there is anything. We must remain silent."

Ditzy jumped a bit as she felt a hand on her. But she calmed down when she saw that it was Stahl's. She drew closer to him for comfort. There was a rustling in the bushes. They all paused to see if it would attack. Ditzy hid behind stahl. Trixie was ready to defend herself. A few minutes passed and nothing came out. Trixie gave a sigh of relief. "Let us continue."

Trixie waved the sound away. "Lets just make it out of here. Trixie wants to get through this alive." Aaron nodded in agreement. Ditzy stayed close to Stahl. Shivering. She let out a yelp as the ground collapsed and she fell through. Saving herself by grabbing onto the edge. "H...Help." She squeaked. Trixie and Aaron turned to see Ditzy hanging for dear life. But they weren't the only thing that heard her. Things in the distance let out howls. Not of a canine, but of something unidentifiable.

@@Mr. Critical,

"Aaron here, use the bayonet" He said, tossing the rifle to the Scientist. He hoped he was at least competent enough to know how to stab something with the one foot blade.

He quickly Extended an arm down to Ditzy, grabbing ahold of her.

"Dont worry Ditzy I got you, I wont let go I promise" He says, starting to pull her up.

Ditzy grabbed his hand and she was pulled up to the land. She was afraid for her life and began to sob into Stahl's shoulders. She tried to talk, but the sobbing would not let her. Trixie and Aaron backed up, looking around. The sound was drawing closer. "T-Trixie is starting to regret this decision." Aaron nodded as well. Something fell from the trees, landing on the ground. IT was black and it had a few openings in its body. It stood up and began to stagger forward. And it looked starved. But what Aaron found interesting, was that this pony was insectoid. It let out a screech. Aaron handed the gun back to Stahl.

Aaron and Trixie took their stance. Aaron took out a wrench and Trixie was preparing a sort of spell. She was staggering, but she was determined to take it down. Ditzy hid behind the three, utterly terrified. "Trixie will not die to such abominations!" She shot forth a fire ball. It seared the creature in half. Its green blood sprayed the ground. But the thing was not dead. It raised and began to crawl forward to the  group. Its jaw was falling off as it crawled and trailed its green blood behind it.

The creature became lifeless as the baton was forced into the skull with a horrid crack. Aaron pulled the weapon out and saw it was corroded a bit. If it was left in there anylonger the metal would have melted. Trixie and Ditzy looked terrified. "T-Trixie has no idea what that was. IT is nothing that has been seen in Equestrian history." Ditzy gave a nod, clinging close to Stahl. "But regardless, we have to hurry before more of them come this way. Trixie will not be eaten by such monstrosities."
